Sony is clearly not gonna risk getting refund-bombed again.

For more context, credit/debit card refunds actually cost the seller (in this case Valve, which is then pushed on the dev/publisher) more than the initial amount because payment processors mandate an additional fee.

Can't we just collect UPC box tops glu them to a 5X8 index card and mail with a self addressed stamped envelope. Wait 6 to 8 weeks and game gets delivered to your house.

To bo honest, these fees are less than one dollar...

You say this as if it is not extremely relevant, or not a risk worth taking into account.

Some products have a margin of less than a dollar. It adds up by making many sales.

The fee adds up by making many refunds. After a mass refund situation, company will get overbearing paranoia over it ever happening again.

I love the fact that Africa doesn't even exist. Pretty accurate for most of us.

It only existed for a brief time when the plan was to try and prove that Obama came from there so could not legally become president as not a born US Citizen.

It then disappeared back into the fog when this proved ineffective.

it is indeed completely irrelevant. I am not saying that the refund topic is not playing a part here, just pointing out that payment fees are really the last problem.
A margin of less than a dollar in a digital release? Doubt.gif
