After 7 years i finally got a new graphics card. It's only a 3060 12Gb so not much, but perfectly fine for finally enjoying some current gen games. My previous GTX 1060 was simply not equipped for this. So i kept many newer games in my backlog waiting to play them properly.
The first game i tried is Robocop. I never saw such level of close up detail in any game before:
Graphics look amazing overall too
It helps the game itself is pretty good as well. But it's the visuals that are mostly striking to me.
Playing at 60fps, highest settings, 1080p. Also using DLSS (quality) which was such an elusive thing for me for so long. And now i can see what the fuss was all about. The image is sharp, clean and i completely forgot about antialiasing artifacts.
Next game will be The Talos Principle 2. And then Silent Hill 2 Remaster. I'm going to wait a bit for that one for a few more patches.
I wonder if all modern games look nearly as good as this or better.
