Might be fun to watch on D+, but a supercut of action and humour didn't sell me on this. I'm not even sold on the hallway scene that the audience seemed to love, but I assume that's a Star Wars event so they're thirsty for any content.

Still, at least Disney are acknowledging one of the series that actually resonated with fans. This should get them some positivity. I don't know how well it will do, but Rotten Tomatoes will likely be at least halfway good.
 
Who came up with the idea of AT-ATs walking along an icy cliff-edge? They really think up the dumbest fucking shit for Star Wars now just because it will look vaguely cool.
 
I love the series, i hope this movie brings the Mando/Grogu story to a close.

Confirm who Grogu is, where he's from and why he was absent from sequal trilogy etc.
 
That looks good. Even if the CGI AT AT looks like a chat gpt SORA video. Signourey Weaver is going to bring some ,much needed strong female presence to this Star Wars universe.
 
After Rogue One showed us what proper perspective can do for framing At-Ats, seeing them like this just feels like a let down. Felt like a tardis as well, all that space in the inside?

I can quibble about things like throwing a knife THROUGH ARMOR or a casual buttstroke TO A GUY WEARING A HELMET as being the choreography they should AVOID if they want stormtroopers to ever feel like a threat again, but I've long since given up on lucasarts giving a shit on evolving Star Wars in any meaningful way. I just hope this wraps up all the dark saber, mof gideon, planet mando stuff with like a 5 minute battle montage so we can just get back to mando doing stuff like "You know, walk the earth, meet people... get into adventures. Like Kane in Kung Fu".
 
All the magic has been gone from starwars for over 25 years now. No idea how anyone can even care. The whole lore is now built on piles upon piles of shit that its impossible for anything good to even be made unless everything got retconned back to the original.
 
So, this is going to be a pseudo-sequel to that amazingly successful Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated film, huh? Ooooooooookay. Will stream.

Looks pretty good, but it's hard to say from the paltry quality. I hope they release the HQ trailer soon because the cat's already out of the bag .It doesn't feel like an epic movie, more like a very, very expensive TV episode, but hopefully it'll feel cinematic.
