Mario Paint Is Still Fun (Especially While Drunk)

So yesterday was my friends birthday, and I didn't have enough cash to buy a decent present. I looked around the house for something nice, and I found my old Mario Paint game and mouse. I give him the present and he loves it. A few other people are at the house. Nice party atmosphere. We drink, we laugh, and we pass the mouse around (spending most of our time on the music side of the game). We probably played the damn thing for a good 3 or 4 hours, and everyone had a good time.

I hope Nintendo is considering bringing Mario Paint back for the NDS.

It really should be a given. When I head about the touch screen, this was the first thing that I thought of.

mario paint was popular among my friends. Especially when it came down to drawing "weird" animations. hrmm. I liked the fly game better.

Take the Baby sound and put it on the lowest note, now set the tempo to the slowest, hilarity ensues.

Yeah! I decided yesterday without a doubt that the Mario Paint version of the SMB theme song was one of my favorites.

Pretty much all of the music in Mario Paint is awesome, there was so much bizarre stuff happening in that game, like playing with the logo on the title screen, that guy doing push ups when you trasition from the title screen to your canvas, the sweet flyswatter game, if there is ever a sequel on DS it will make the system a must buy for me.

This post comes accompanied with rich flowing streams of nostalgia. *Joneses for some Mario Paint*

I didn't have a computer growing up, so Mario Paint was where I first cut my teeth with digital art.

Also, I used the mermaid template to draw naked chicks. Ah, memories...

Bah. If ever there was an art-related title that needs to be on the DS, it's Magic Pengel. :p (Though Mario Paint wouldn't be that bad a DS title, either... maybe you could have people sketch together on the same canvas via WiFi...)
