Last game I unpacked (RE7) took almost an hour. I was better off downloading it after it was unlocked on Steam.

I download at 6 MB/s. Would it be faster to preload or just get it when it's finally released?
Depends on how beefy your PC is at decrypting, I'd imagine. If your connection is fast enough, preloading may actually be slower.
Also, Green Man Gaming has a Steamworks code for activating the game on your purchases page now. Just activated mine.

Looks like my GameXplain and Twitter content has eventually been making it into the thread anyway courtesy of Neoxon, but I'll get out in front of things this time and post this screenshot I just took right in the thread. On the left is X's color 4 and Zero's color 3, and on the right we have Command Mission X's color 4 and Zero's color 4!
Sorry if these have already been posted, but I haven't seen 'em around and I know people were asking for X's 4th colors a few pages back.
This was already posted in the thread earlier, but if you want to see X and Command Mission X's colors 2 and 3, you can see 'em in this video.
By the way, as a totally casual, scrubby player who's mostly just hyped about X (not to mention X and Zero in the same roster together and Sigma later on), I'm finding this game to be quite fun. The game makes it easy for scrubs to do cool-looking stuff while the execution gap is still there for pros or even just people who want to dig a little deeper. Can't say much more since I'm still under embargo, but hey, I'm having fun for whatever that's worth from one of the scrubbiest scrubs out there.
And yes, I have played characters other than X and Zero. I'm quite enjoying Dante, Frank West, Gamora, and Spider-Man too!

Amazon always screws up pre-orders since they started the 20% off deal at least for me.
I don't think they've said. Most Steam games release at 1pm EST unless the publisher works out a special release time.

Yeah mine hasn't even shipped either. I didn't do Best buy this time since I got Injustice 2 says late at launch and now I'm hearing people are getting BB copies early. I can't win for losing lol.
Is preload up on Xbox? I might go ahead and Preorder on Xbox as well if the ol "I'm Australian" time zone switcheroo would work so I could play now haha.

It's up I got it on Friday and it downloaded it's huge though like 40 or 50 gigs though.
DLC isnt day 1. BP and Sigma will probably come out sometime in October, presumably they are showing them at TGS next weekend

With how they put it up, it doesn't show a countdown like with other steam games which makes it rather annoying.

I was thinking about Infinite in the CPT yesterday and realized something: What are they going to do when both games need to be streamed at the same time? I guess create a separate 'CapcomFighters2' channel?

3 hours? I heard the entire story mode is 2 hours. Plus the only language track is English

Story Mode was really fun. Mixes it up quite a bit and has some fun cut scenes.
