I'll be waiting to see if Pokemon D/P does something comparable to the 597,000 DS week in 2005. I doubt it, but then nothing's out of the realm of possibility with DS ever since that week.puck1337 said:[Pokemon D/P]'ll probably hold strong and start to increase as we approach Christmas and especially the new year.
I think the arrival of the Wii will make complete the boredom. I guess it will be sort of exciting for some to try to guess whether WII or NDS will win the top 10, but it will mostly be more of the same.Hero said:Charts are getting kind of boring. PS3 and Wii need to come out already.

You almost sound... defeated when you say that. What, do you own a PSP or something?Battersea Power Station said:I think the arrival of the Wii will make complete the boredom. I think Xmas holidays will boost sales dramatically, and also the Wii Pokemon game may tempt others to buy it too?cvxfreak said:2.562M after four weeks for DP. 2.374 for RS. 2.618 for GS.
So GS is now ahead in a similar timeframe, thanks to its released in the 1999 holiday season. I expect DP to drop off even more over the next few weeks until its selling like 150K a week combined. The Christmas will come and we may see boosts back into the 300K or so range. If the legs of games like NSMB and Mario Kart DS are any indication then Nintendo should have no problem selling another 1.5 Million units in 2007, if not more. DP started out the best, but will slowdown faster but stay around longer.
I see what you did thereEngrish Training

RaijinFY said:If you do a little research on older topics speaking of FFIII, you will see some of folks claiming It could even surpassed the sales of the original (1.4m, I guess). I think It will break the million barrier though, which is still supremely impressive.

Bebpo said:Well my only prediction RE: FFIII DS was that it won't outsell FFXII, which some of your n-crew claimed would happen since DS is hotter than PS2 and FFIII was the rebirth of FF sales after declining FFXII sales because "people wanted the old style back". :lol
