After this week there will be less than 250k remaining and Obon is at August 13-15. It won't take a long time to clear the first shipment.

Doesn't it seem surprising though that this game seems that much more front loaded than the second one? How did Level 5 overestimate this so much?

Inazuma Eleven 2 had a big rise at sales last December ala Galaxy. The movie is coming out at December 23 this year and Inazuma Eleven 3 will also have a big or small benefit again.

Last Ranker sales are pretty surprising. I mean, the game is not selling great or even good but it's pretty weird to see a PSP RPG selling this much when it had an absurdly low comgnet rating.

Nah, Inazuma Eleven 4 will be for 3DS so it will take some time to come out (not too long, I mean more than 12 months).
