Its lower than last week and the week before. The holidays brought a bump and does not appear to be a permanent change to Nintendo's fortunes. Unfortunately.
That holiday bump wouldn't last no matter how good it was selling.

God Eater 2 failed to get a significant boost during the entire holiday season, even with Vita selling 90k this week.
It'll break 2M, 3M will be the test.
Was anybody expecting it to establish a new baseline at 100k? Obviously not. The real question is what new baseline it will find in the coming weeks. I don't think this week's number told us a whole lot there. Its lower than last week and the week before. I'm hoping Zelda sees sustained demand.
Move over everyone else. The Vita has arrived.
It'll be up YoY this year too, I boldly proclaim.
Combining 2D and 3D Mario was a genius move by Nintendo.Heh 3D Land sold more than NSMB 2.

Depends on how 3DS sell and when a sequel comes out, we'd be getting ahead of ourselves predicting anything more than 3M at this point.Really think it's going to end up as Animal Crossing's closes competitor. I don't think it'll pass it though.
on 1 week obviously...or gaikai which is both stupid.Based on what?
Sadly other than graphics it feels like the developers didn't put their all into the game. They must have cut funding part way through development as the story is a mess and just ends abruptly mid way. Game looks better than burst but has so much recycled content its insane.
I still enjoyed my 40hrs though. Compared to MH4 though, the level of polish/content isn't even in the same league. Lack of online play too hurt the game.
Actually, is holding pretty well. I think is going to stabilize between 15k - 25k (not counting the big releases). for the next months. And thats not bad, at all.Wtf at Vita. Where'd that come from?
Looks like Wii U is back on the slide though... How long until we're back at sub-10k there I wonder.

So we have a rise for all Sony systems and a down for all Nintendo systems, right ?
That's unexpected....
Can someone could explain for me ??
week 2 will be the real test for WiiU. below 20K or not.
Make that "in three weeks".
01/23Good week for the Vita. Only DBZ game is coming out in January for the Vita right?
You don't think it'll sell roughly 30,000 more units next week? That'll be a larger drop than from last week, which doesn't make much sense to me.
Granted, I don't think it'll be anything over 45,000, but still.
EDIT: Oh yeah, holidays and such. I guess a bigger drop is indeed possible.

probably holding things back to sell the game again next/this year...
01/23
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z
Tokyo Shinseiroku: Operation Abyss
Uta Kumi 575
01/30
Amagami (EbKore+)
Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return
Rozen Maiden: Wechseln Sie Welt ab
DBZ is the biggest release for sure. Disgaea 4 is a port iirc.
Good to see the Vita selling well and hope the support from publishers will pick up. Square Enix should at least be more supportive after the FFX/X2 numbers.

No way.week 2 will be the real test for WiiU. below 20K or not.
Nothin' but blind faith 'n' gut feelings.Based on what?
So that means anything over 20k can be considered "good" for next week and anything under 15k can be considered bad.Wii U last year:
Week 1 2013: 67k
Week 2 2013: 21k

No way.
FFX/X-2 over 400k not including digital sales already. Nice!
Here's hoping XII is next on the list.
.
What happened to Attack on Titan, is it still out of stock or something?
3DS software is everywhere. Also nice to see the Vita and Wii U afloat.
Oh, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team hit the 400k mark. I remember it having a rather slow start, but are these good numbers in the end?
It seems that Super Mario 3D World will be passing 500k next week? Those are pretty good numbers considering how long the game has been out. It's had some great legs.

They're now roughly on par with the 1st and 2nd game (400k+). Still far away from the 3rd which sold 700k+ though.
