07./04. [3DS] Fire Emblem: Awakening (Nintendo) - 14,642 / 391,345 (-2%)
I'm impressed.
Maybe the DLC?
Its got 500k lifetime on lock now by the end of the gen which is just sort of mindblowing.
So if I'm not mistaken we're in week 24 of Vita in Japan. This is the week in 3DS's life when the price drop was announced. I don't see Sony announcing a price drop next week, but wouldn't that be funny?
Here's Mario Kart since N64 in general:I'm gonna need a MKDS vs MK7 comparison.

There was some discussion about this quite some time ago, but i cant quite remember all of it. It was said that there is a mix between how many pre-orders the stores takes/expect to sell and something to do with publishers too. But i dont remember which expectations that weigh in the most, how much the stores orders or what the publishers think.OMG! Thanks for the correction! I really don't know how I did this error. O_O
But wouldn't the quantity shipped be an indication of how much they thought it would sell?
Yeah I know Nintendo often overship their casual/sport titles, but it's not a casual game, and in the end it barely sold more than half the initial shipping. The exercise could be make with the other PSV games too. I would be curious to see the result... To late to do it now, I must sleep, but I'll try to look at it tomorrow.
Game of the year being released this week. I'd say it'd be a pretty safe guess that we're looking at 3-4 million sales week one, heading towards a lifetime of 8-9 million.
I don't get the joke.
Something about pandas having sex? That's next week though.I don't get the joke.
Loli dragon and characters like this:Fire Emblem's ability to stay fairly high each week is really starting to impress me.
Why exactly is this one doing so well compared to past FE games?
I don't get the joke.
No one has even mentioned The-Game-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named. >_>Oh, good, I was worried for a while that AnimeGAF wasn't going to show up in this week's thread.
Glad that fear's been put to rest!

That probably isn't the sole reason, but I really think the character designs are a big factor.[/QUOTE]
i like those designs, but man they really don't fit fire emblem. i miss the old style.
You are part of the problem. -_- I want Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn's artist back.i like those designs, but man they really don't fit fire emblem. i miss the old style.

There's no turning back, is there?
Quoting myself from the end of the last thread because I think it's at least a little pertinent and could springboard some conversation:
Edit: Worth noting; this data is all Famitsu, the OP number is Media-Create
Why wouldn't you count Kingdom Hearts as a new IP??
There's no turning back, is there?
I've heard things about you, so that is not surprising.I, for one, love the new FE designs and will be buying two copies.
Take that, Femmeworth!
Nothing glorious about pandering.Embrace it. It's glorious.

Wait until you hear mine.
I'm gonna need a MKDS vs MK7 comparison.
And 3D Land is doing great, who would've known it would be the one with the most impressive legs?
Here's Mario Kart since N64 in general:
MKDS is 214 and MK7 is 5347, but it's almost impossible to see it by itself since its line has been so close to MK Wii (2854).
Truer truth has never been spoken.Oh, but there is. When you're on the side that's being pandered to.
Nintendo, more like The Mario Company

Hot damn at Dragon's Dogma, that's one hell of a debut for a new IP. That should sail past 500k in a few weeks, easily. Not sure it'll reach seven figures, but it might come close by the end of the year.

So what were first week sales for DQM: Joker 1 and 2 like?
What's wrong with this?
