Obon festival.Maybe not the right place to ask this but is there a holiday in Japan this week or something? I only ask because I saw there was no famitsu news this week![]()
Weak isn't the term I'd use. It'll be a million in Japan before the end of the month and then there's Europe and Americas. Plus the budget would be relatively minuscule for the title. How is NSMB2 doing compared to the other 2 NSMB titles? Its numbers look weak to me.
I just noticed that. Pretty amazing.DQM 3DS is still hanging on. Good.
How did you find last week's numbers?Yeah. Since it was in the Top 30 two weeks ago, was able to work out last week's numbers. It was out of the MC Top 50 last week. Amazing increase! :lol
I would be very surprised if ~250k people bought the game directly from the Eshop.Of course it could be well over that when you combine retail and digital. I wonder with what frequency Nintendo will share that information?

DS was destroying everything and that didn't help the Wii with 3rd parties. Japanese 3rd parties who are going to make HD console games don't only have Japan in mind all the time.

Million seller still in sight.DQM 3DS is still hanging on. Good.
Obon
Obon festival.
And NSMBU sales are probably going to be lower than that because it's a launch title with a starting userbase of 0.People always forget that while the development budget is probably pretty small, the marketing budget on the hand should be fairly huge.
Of course, NSMB2 is a money-maker. But it is selling considerably weaker than its predecessors so far, no way denying that.

Before Vita reach 1 million, whoever has bet that won!
It's already made a massive profit for Nintendo and it's only out in Japan

LBX Baku Boost is a big surprise too, it's on track to outsell Boost PSP even. LBXW Boost for 3DS has to be a sure thing by now.

Q1 2013, I see it pretty clearly now.

Great result for Namco.
Its level 5, it'll be out by the end of the year
It's probably at 1 million right now with the digital sales.
I would go so far as to say it may even be a late December 2012 release if it's 3DS exclusive.Q1 2013, I see it pretty clearly now.
I highly doubt it unless Japan has suddenly gone digital crazy.
Followers of Queen Miku?I went to Yodobashi camera today and saw a lot of people in the Vita section looking at the games and trying out the system. It was pretty weird, I have never seen so many interested in the system before. Of course the 3ds section was also full of people, but I wouldn't be surprised if obon week shows a good boost in Vita hardware sales.

08./07. [PS3] Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena (Atlus Co.) - 16,912 / 165,873 (-17%)
How are these numbers for DQX compared to DQVIII - would have thought they would have been a bit better.
Although to be honest I kind of hope it does badly since I was rather hoping for a return to V/VIII style grand storytelling.
the power of this guy

I see, it's approaching 1.53M very fast. We need more holidays in Japan!Obon anticipation? Think a lot of schools got out last week, too.
It's a subscription based MMO. The best comparison is more a relative one, like FFXI/XIV to the FF mainline series or MHFO to the MHP series. How are these numbers for DQX compared to DQVIII - would have thought they would have been a bit better.

Ah, right, i completely forgot that they give out the LTD as well. Then it should be easy to find out indeed. ThanksThat makes the LTD last week of 75243-25365=49878.
That makes the weekly number from last week (that's not in the Top 30) 49878-47504=2374.

I'm curious as to how Persona 4 Arena's sales are doing compared to other major fighting game releases over the years.
It's hard to compare both numbers because they're completly different games. I guess DQX and FF XI'd be better. How are these numbers for DQX compared to DQVIII - would have thought they would have been a bit better.

It's doing very well. These are LTDs of the biggest recent fighting games I can think of. Except SSBB, which has done over 2 million.
