yeah it wasnt for a long time. it was always a niche manga that had a very niche but loyal following (its about as old as dragon ball). however there was a pretty popular anime reboot and the series kinda exploded.

Tekken and Virtua Fighter were bigger. Tekken during the PSone was absolutely massive. Tekken 2 and 3 sold over a million units each in Japan. And VF2 on the Saturn even managed to hit a million. But JoJo is the best selling fighter in Japan on the HD consoles.

Monster Hunter. Ragnorak is more like an expansion hardly something to boost Vita's numbers.

FFXIV RR is a great game now. PS3 players are oblivious to the horrors of the original PC version.

- Each game isn't on a different platform

Really surprised to see Vita dropping back to sub-10k ghetto land. It was gaining momentum these past weeks leading to Obon. REALLY needs a big hitter instead of the usual sub-100k niche releases that sell to the already existing userbase.

And really if TW101 debuted at 5k, of course it'll be absent from the charts this week. Such a poor opening cannot lead to any kind of legs. No one wants the game, really.
