If there was such a relationship (which i guess wouldn't be too surprising?), i would imagine there would be more of an incentive to aid falcom during the vita era than today.

9. S0kun Anything youd like to say to the community?
[Hirono] North America is the biggest market for us so Im constantly looking at player data to analyze what you guys are playing and definitely see how much youre supporting the game. Other than the December Fan Festa in Los Angeles, we have the upcoming New York Fan Festa so we are very much looking forward to meeting the fans to get your feedback to help us create better content!

Were always looking to expand platforms for our player base of the game so PC is going to be included in those discussions, but we cant comment on any new platforms at the moment.
Do you guys think the same will happen if they release Minna No Golf mobile in NA,I think that type of game will do good in NAAs a side note, apparently Brave Exvius is bigger in North America than Japan.

That would be quite stupid of SNK, as the ports of NeoGeo fighting games have been selling very well on Switch, with KoF 98 being one of the top sellers. Besides, looking at the middling sales of KoF XIV across the board, it's probably not in their best interests to be picky with their platform choices. If I was in their position, I'd be trying to put my games out on as many viable platforms as possible. For SnK, i can see some small title like maybe more Neo Geo port or Metal Slug reboot. But i don't see KoF or any fighting game coming to Switch there. I don't think SnK would see the audience over there.

KOF XIV on Switch would be very cool. But I doubt that SNK is planning something for the console. I am not sure if SNK is making money with this Arcade Archives and this is something I would like to know, because is selling quite well on Switch.

I guess it's a yearly ranking?
If so being behind 1-2 Switch merely indicates that it's somewherebelow the 10-15k sales range.
I mean even endless runners are on the top grossing chart in the NA,I think this game has potentialFor some game sure like that new FFXV mobile can do better on the west. But most of the jp mobile is so far apart from WW taste that it rarely perform greatly.
On MnG, is the IP in anyway popular outside of JP right now?
Are these only JP sales?
Just like FF is bigger in America than in Japan.

Yeah, XIII would be the best out of the post-NeoGeo bunch but still not a great test game. It didn't do too hot on consoles and only reached good numbers on Steam after several sales.Huh, apparently XII didn't score so good, but XIII certainly did. ... Go with that one!![]()

Are these only JP sales? I'm sure the WW number is much higher since the ACA ports passed the 200,000 mark back in early May.

Blazblue Cross Tag Battle's target platform is still TBA, but gameplay videos show triangle, circle and X buttons during character select screens, so that pretty much confirms a PS4 version.

can you even be a fighter now a days and not be on PS4?
Easily since the most popular fighter is exclusive to Nintendo (Smash). I haven't checked, but I believe even Arms outsold every fighter released on PS4.

This game has 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds though. I think it's more likely they're reusing whatever game engine BlazBlue was created on.PS4 was the safest bet anyway. Each fighter releases on PS4; the community has settled on that platform for quite some time now.
Do we know whether ASW uses Unreal Engine for this game? Because this is most likely the game where they finally drop PS3, and this could very well get a Switch port, since we know that the series is coming to Switch. Is it be with this game tho? My personal guess is PC/PS4/NSW and built in Unreal Engine, which they're already using for Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Super Smash Bros. series is definitely the most popular fighter but I don't think that really means anything. As a matter of fact, starting from Nintendo 64, Nintendo consoles probably have the the least amount of third party fighting games, let alone exclusives.Easily since the most popular fighter is exclusive to Nintendo (Smash). How is FFXV:New Empire doing in japan? This game has a huge marketing budget from what iam seeing

The God Eater live concert is happening, any prediction?
The real question is, though: are those people buying Smash/ARMS likely to buy other games in the fighting genre? Or: are they buying those products solely because they're Nintendo products, and therefore they're not traditionally fighting games enthusiasts? Further: are fighting games enthusiasts on Nintendo platforms likely to buy other games in the fighting genre on the same platforms, or perhaps they own another platform (e.g., PS4) where they buy third party fighting games? I think Switch has already signals of a good fighting game community, since Ultra Street Fighter II and Dragon Ball XenoVerse both sold good, so Switch might be more appropriate for the games you all mentioned. In particular, ASW fighting games do not need millions to succeed, and they cater a niche rather than the mainstream market.
Like others have pointed out, Arms came out this year and out sold every fighter on PS4, except Injustice 2.
Considering all those Nintendo fans had bought USFII, DBXV, Pokken, Arms and Smash. I don't know how much more can Nintendo try to make sure to other third party to release their fighting game on Switch lol.
If they don't believe there is no audience, then it is futile to try pushing those devs anymore.

God Eater 3 multiplatform.
Between PS4 and PC?![]()
That is not true.
And Tekken 7.
No, Arms beat Tekken 7's lifetime sales in its first week.

I think it will be released for the X1 too, considering Spencers trip to Japan I think he managed to court all big Bamco titles to the X1,including GE3Between PS4 and PC?![]()
In Japan, yes.
Worldwide, ARMS was around 1.2m as of June, while Tekken 7 was around 1.7m as of August.
Anyway, it's funny we're comparing a game on a new platform with around 5m installed base with games released on 2-3 platforms with huge installed bases and the fighting community.
