Than you hiska-kun.According to Chris, their expectations for second week were:
XY 2nd week = ORAS 2nd week.
01./01. [3DS] Pokemon X / Y # <RPG> (Pokemon Co.) {2013.10.12} (¥4.800) - 473.151 / 2.339.721 (-75%)
Bomba price, no question about it.
Looking at specific 3DS SKUs, MC shows how regular New 3DS doubled its sales compared to last week, as well as regular old 3DS, while new 3DS XL just slightly rose. I think this is interesting.
Last thread I talked about how I felt the 3DS was nearing saturation, but I think the Vita is actually in a worse position on that front.PSV:
YTD 2014: 1.013.704
YTD 2013: 990.894
Just 23k to cross the streams. It's shocking how PSV is selling in November... Shocking for the second best-selling platform and the one that is receiving the most support nowadays.

What made Vita sell that amount in 2013? From what I remember, Vita had some pretty good games this year and a new model in like February?

It's a system that pretty much only appeals to people who want games targeted at the 14-22 year old core and/or otaku audience for niche and mid-tier games and aren't satisfied with just having a 3DS.
At its current LTD with no signs of mega sellers in the horizon, the line-up from here on out basically consists of games that appeal to the exact same audience that already owns the system.
There's not even a minor upgrade incentive at this point and the audience it is trying to address is inherently quite a bit smaller so the rate of natural acquisition (people suddenly entering the target audience) is pretty low.
Who thought that? Worldwide, I assume? At this point, the 5.5-6m mark many thought for PSV during 2014 seems out of reach.
Usually this week and next week should be the "real" start.Wii U is down this week? I figured last week was the start of the holiday bump. Guess not.
Maybe he means lifetime in Japan? Basically N64/Saturn numbers, which wouldn't be so bad historically.Who thought that? Worldwide, I assume?
Is that a typo?

Ah, yeah, that would make sense.sörine;140496007 said:Maybe he means lifetime in Japan? Basically N64/Saturn numbers, which wouldn't be so bad historically.
13./00. [3DS] Sumikko Gurashi: Koko ga Ochitsukundesu <ETC> (Nippon Columbia) {2014.11.20} (¥5.184) - 11.656 / NEW
Next 3DS sleeper-hit! I'm calling it!
Ah, yeah, that would make sense.
- Youkai Watch 2.5 is gonna rock.
- Looks like pre-orders are slowing down a bit for Smash... or maybe those for MK8 rose faster prior to lauch?
- EOU2 is going to do well!
- Isn't that real bad for Gundam Breaker?
That's too bad, since Gundam Breaker 2 looks to be a huge improvement over the first game. Oh well, got my copy preordered.
EO2R sold out on Amazon. Coming for that 100k debut.
3DS : Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl ( Atlus ) { 2013-06-27 } - 92,566 / 130,274
3DS : Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan ( Atlus ) { 2012-07-05 } - 97,142 / 134,499
What the fuck, I thought EO1R sold a lot less.
Is there a reason why Smash Wii U isn't listed?
Marvelous' flagship mobile game is ascending to godhood earnings tier.
Position #2 works out to about $2 million a day. (Feel free to yell at me if I forget to list things like this when making these posts. I forget it's not common knowledge.)
The new Million Arthur game is off to a strong start.
Finally Marvelous can invest some serious money in RF!
56% off on amazon, woah....
The Knight of Fafnir is actually the first game post Persona Q.On that note I'm curious to see what they're doing with Etrian Odyssey V.
It's the first game in a post PersonaQ world and my opinion at the time was that they should either up the production values on EO's new entries (as in the ones that aren't remakes) or focus on PersonaQ games if they want to capitalize on the expanded audience.
Well, I guess Rune Factory's concept does seem like a pretty good fit for mobile. >_>

Never thought I would see the day where a One Piece game would go to bomba bins.
The 3DS, assuming a replacement in 2016, would end around 22-24 million (if we assume 2.5 million next year, 2 million the next, and then 1-2 million in the post 4DS era). I could see it falling short of that though if it declines rapidly instead of gradually from where it is now, which is why I include 22 million on the bottom end. That would leave it at about 2/3rds of what the DS sold, which isn't disasterous, suggesting that taking a large block of the PSP's audience did stave off a fair amount of casual decline. That said it's still an LTD that's only a few million past the PSP itself, which places it firmly in the same sales band despite in theory having the most audiences you would expect a dedicated device to muster in modern times.
Comgnet retail store chain: preorders stats / comparisons, as of November 26th, 2014
[3DS] Yokai Watch 2: Ganso / Honke - 446pt + 342pt = 788pt
[3DS] Yokai Watch 2: Star Performer - 1,377pt
around 50% more but I already can hear the "Nova bomba" approaching....[PSV] Phantasy Star Online 2 - 105pt
[PSV] Phantasy Star Nova - 153pt
Then you were not around here when One Piece Musou 2 was released.
The Knight of Fafnir is actually the first game post Persona Q.
Evidenced by The Millennium Girl, there doesn't seem to be any distinction by consumers for the main series vs Untold.
Yes, but I kind of view the EO remakes as things with pre-determined budgets and scopes from ages ago whereas Etrian Odyssey V is a fully new thing unto itself.

If, *IF* Capcom has a big exclusive IP for the PS4, like Monster Hunter (not happening) or Dragon's Dogma, they may be able to help the system sell in Jap....actually who am I kidding.
I don't think their big secret game is a Sony exclusive.

Since it seems nobody else pointed it out, I thought you might want to know that 剣と魔法のログレス いにしえの女神 is actually 'Ken to Mahou no Logres : Inishie no Megami'.
Seems like they put it through chinese auto translate instead of japanese and ended up with the 'Jianto...' thing.
Video from this gamePokemon stays winning.
I need this.
