Honestly MGS2 has the best intro sequence ever. That incredible trailer that plays at launch, the epic crescendo for the title drop while each letter of the title is formed with a metallic clang. Then the beautiful artwork of the main menu…MGS2 really is peak. Only game that comes close is how hype ZOE2:HD intro is with Beyond the Bounds playing, Ken Marinaris floating naked in a Vector Trap, that fucking incredible battle sequences against Anubis…Perfect.

It's short, intense and set the tone. Perfect for an arcade game. Other arcades like Metal Slug have good intros.
The "legendary men" part is a bit of a private meme between me and a friend.
