buuut bethesda is armazing even got doom and halo is good
Halo is not good, and has not been good since 2010. Halo Reach was the last good Halo game. Halo Infinite is not a terrible game, but it's a disappointment that followed an absolute travesty which itself followed a bad game with a single redeeming factor which is Halo 4 Cortana.

They bought 2 giant publishers, but these were not that great to begin with, so they churn out more turds than before, let's say they have streamlined their turd production. They are getting good at churning turds out.
That and gamepass fillers are not helping them, the good thing is you can play these turds everywhere!!

They were looking for some poo!

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
Indiana Jones was excellent, and the Forza Horizon games are still awesome. Plus Flight Sim.

I’d say they’re pretty good.

Before the acquisition, I loved Bethesda, obsidian, and double fine. I rarely ever bought games from Activision because those style of games were not something I enjoyed. I still love Bethesda, obsidian, and I’m looking forward to see what double fine does, but Activision still doesn’t do anything for me.

They’ve gotten a mini boost by publishing Activision and Bethesda games. They’ll mismanage them like the other studios they let rot.

For all the hype Activision and Bethesda have been declining since the 360 days, it was the wordy time to buy.

I'm interested in probably less than 15% of their output, but it it doesn't make them bad per se. Most of their shit just isn't for me.

Thank you, GigaBowser, for bringing positivity back to this increasingly negative and cynical cesspool. You have become my favorite joke account.

Seriously though, it does look like they may be coming out of their decade-long slump just in time for all gamers, regardless of platform, to reap the benefits.

Doom: The Dark Ages looks awesome and it seems like a lot of the projects that have been simmering for-fucking-ever, like Fable and Perfect Dark, might actually release in the next couple of years. Hope that Oblivion remake is real.

This.

There is no other outcome than this.

i am true buuuut thank you my freinds i must tell the truth about games after arbd to share industry perdictions and help peoples

At best they are highly uneven. For every Indiana Jones there is a Shartfield. Avowed is yet another disappointment.
Even something like Indy was deep into development by the time Microsoft took them over. Same thing with Starfield. I don't blame Microsoft for Todd Howard being creatively stuck in the mud

I will give Microsoft big time credit if games like Fable, Perfect Dark, and Gears E-day are really good. Those are games that wouldn't exist without Microsofts backing.

Smaller studios, like In-exile and Undead labs are other good examples of developing their first AAA games, Clockwork Revolutions and State of Decay 3. If those games are great, Microsoft deserves the praise for financially backing them

There still hasn't been a must have game released under Phils reign.

A few 8's but thats it. I'd say they are just OK right now.

Well, we already know Avowed is not really good.

everything under MS goes to shit. and I'm not even kidding.

their track record is awful

Fable 📉
crack down 📉
Halo 📉
gears📉
hellblade 📉
Forza motorsport 📉
flight simulator 📉

So, Xbox as a third is indeed great, only in size. They need to do way better. This idea of giving 'W' to Xbox for ABK/ZeniMax's games is the same spin/damage control that put Xbox on the road of delusion.

Uh... above average maybe? You expecting perfect dark and fable to be bigtime? You've got their back catalog of good games coming to ps5 at a good rate. They had a huge setback with forza motorsport. Act and Beth are operating like usual for the moment. No way to know if they get better or worse as they settle in. The previously owned studios are supposed to shape up? Idk we got a rash of people convinced that ms games are awesome now because reasons.

I'd still call it above average because I've at least looked at some of their games with interest. Ubi, EA - I hardly bother looking.

I barely bought Xbox Game Studios, Activision or Bethesda fare to begin with.

So combining them all into one uber large publisher isn't something that will make me call it great automatically.

All those titles also shined under MS as well. The issue is the current management have no clue what they are doing. Zero passion for games.
