Thursday=The Hives
Friday=Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club, Kings of Leon, M.I.A, Rage Against the Machine
Saturday=Spoon,Smashing Pumpkins, Tiesto. Coheed & Cambria play that day...but they're awful
Sunday=Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Common, Wilco. Unfortunately....to see CYHSY, I would have to wait until Common by sitting through fucking Fall Out Boy.....

That is totally worth it, they sound like a band that would be phenomenal live

Clap Your Hands was mediocre at best when I went to see them. But the audience wasn't giving them any energy either. So I guess they might be ok...

10th (Saturday): I love Techno in Belgium: Klaxons, Justice, Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, MSTRKRFT, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize and some more. :D
 
No really, your ears have not evolved enough to be able to withstand that and not suffer permanent damage.

Sunday = Pharoah Monche, Robert Randolph or Ghostland Observatory, Muse, Rage Against the Machine

And last week I saw Justice with Erol Akan. I'm having a pretty good couple of weeks.

i've seen QoTSA, Randolph and Cypress Hill. Number 1 band I have left to see, after this weekend, is Daft Punk, now that Rage and Pumpkins are off my list.
 
My wife is going with her friend to see Bon Jovi on Thursday. They are huge fans and have that front row/back stage special package which costs $1000 per person. The best part is that it didn't cost us a cent.

So my concert weekday is better than your weekend.

saw CYHSY perform on New Years Eve in 2005 - one of the best concerts i've ever been to. the atmosphere was unreal, with clowns performing to the side of the stage, to a giant release of balloons at midnight and people making out all over.

Yeah, it was a pain the the ass to get tickets too. It was pretty expensive.

-I had to find a voodoo doctor.
I had to get guys to dig him up.
-I had to get him fresh hookers to eat
-I had to hire people to be his band and let me tell you, its really hard to convince people to play in a bad with Zombie Jimi Hendrix.

I was at that show on Saturday. It was wicked. (Except for this psycho, racist black girl I had to deal with... I complained that her stupidly large shoulder bag was hitting my girlfriend and everyone else in the packed crowd around her, and she went on an anti-white tirade and threatened me and stuff.)


I just found out that Midnight Juggernauts played with JUSTICE on Thursday, and I am terribly upset I didn't get to see them.


I don't get to go to shows much. Don't like going on my own, and my girlfriend has a hard time making it to them.

Don't mean to rub it in, man, but I had never heard of Midnight Juggernauts when I went to the Justice concert. Holy shit were they good.
