Well the aunt thing is because he was picking her up from swimming lessons or something, and the uncle got suspicious and it caused a big thing and now they can't be in the same room.

This reminds me of the Gaia Life Discussion threads years and years ago. A bunch of confused teenagers wondering if their siblings were hitting on them and what to do when they were attracted to their sibling.

In all seriousness, that's an interesting response and if I were you, reacting like that, I would be questioning myself as to why that is my automatic response, internally.

It seems like you want to shut people out when they confront you with their vulnerable feelings, inviting you to be vulnerable too. It can be hard to get over that, but families should be safe places to go ahead and show unconditional love. A good place to practice what that feels like, so that you have a good model for interactions in other parts of your life.

There's no reason to be repulsed by the love of others. Everyone you ever want to show love to appreciates it. The only reason not to show them and tell them you love them is if you can see they're reacting the way you are now - with revulsion, and I promise you that is a chain reaction that is worth breaking.

Not really sure at this point. Don't know the formula to correct the % for the age gap either.

Why all the subs? Are you waiting for a showdown between me, my sis, my dad and my uncle?

I think part of it may be that she always had a large circle of friends at home, and now she's moved away she might be missing that.

Because we want to see if your sister tries to sleep with you, and we want to hear about how your dad slept with his sister. It's like driving past a car crash on the highway.

Also, if that last bit is the case, stop being a douche and be there for your sister. My sister hasn't fucking spoken to me in over ten years. Here, you have a sister who obviously loves you and you're basically telling her to fuck off.

Thank you for this post. I always had (and still do have) a lot of social anxiety as a kid which meant I tended to keep quiet and not say anything as it often seemed to result in embarrassment in front of my older siblings. My family often didn't feel like a safe place.
