They really should just get rid of the Conferences. What's the argument at this point?
At the very least, we'll continue to win championships in the future, I don't know if the Cleve can after LeBrong leaves, let's be honest here guys
Three seasons after this one, Horford has a 30 million player option.
Fuck that's one of the worst contracts of all time.
In a world with private planes this doesn't seem like a big deal.Travel time
Looks like Boston could actually use that #1 pick.
People keep saying the Celtics are "close" to being a top tier team but they really aren't.

538 is a joke538 gave C's a 58% chance of winning tonight.
Look, I understand their formula was based on regular season performance, but they're just making themselves look bad now by continuing to stick to it. lol
If the Celtics play hard, they can push the series to 4 games

Celtics in 6

Yeah definitely not this much effort. Which I mean, is smart. He's basically playing a season long warm up, then unleashes his power in the playoffs. All his career he heard "No one cares about regular season Lebron, GET RINGS LOSER LULULOLOL" and so he's like "K." I mean, the first meeting with the Warriors, I really wonder how that would have gone if Kyrie and Love were healthy. He won two games with basically no one around him lol
They are one of the last 4 teams still playing basketball. That's as top tier as it gets. Sadly, in this day and age there are 2 teams that are above everyone else and no one has a fighting chance (maybe the Spurs fully healthy could have roughed up the Warriors or the Cavs but I still wouldn't take them to win 4 games), but there's no shame in getting this far.
So are we looking at 7 games for Cavs/warriors?
Seems like the solution would be to just extend the break between the playoff games by a day or two, in order to make up for travel fatigue.Consistent cross country flights with less than 48 hours between games is not the best solution for the quality of the NBA's product as everything is currently constructed. In an ideal world they significantly shorten the regular season because who really cares and move to a true 1-16 playoff bracket + extend the time between playoff games, but that is unlikely to happen because of revenue concerns.

They're clowning Boston hard. This post-game show is hilarious.
I just hate their roster. It's poorly constructed and makes no sense in the context of the modern NBA, and only really "works" because they have enough good warm bodies to grind out regular season games and because Brad Stevens is a wizard. Yet-Another-Young-Point-Guard and Hayward aren't going to move the needle that significantly.
Maybe having Kevin Durant would have been enough to vault them to the level of being true challengers but that possibility is long gone.
There will be an 8 day break until the finals if both the Cavs and Warriors sweep

True. I really hope everyone is in tip top shape the entire series.Depends on the health of LeBron and Curry IMO. I'm hoping they're both in top form, should be a hell of series.
After tonight I'm just looking forward to next year for the C's.
