The only real differences this year are the stadium entrances (Chief Osceola from FSU, Bevo from Texas, Ralphie from CU, etc) and Custom Playbooks, at least that I can notice.

NCAA 12 is definitely better, but not by much. I don't know where EA could improve on for NCAA 13. I might skip next year

Being able to effect plays on tackles is a huge addition. No more canned animations netting in 5 yards+ guaranteed, now you can actually knock the player back. Sad that it took this long to get in, but now that it is in, it's a huge addition, as is the assist on tackling being gone. The game is a lot different than just some lame intros being added...

Funny, this is the first NCAA I skipped in a while. Played the demo and it reminded me a lot of NCAA 11. And since my backlog is so big I decided to skip the NCAA / Madden combo this year.

Agreed. The AI seems a little better, the blocking seems a little better and the routes/passing lanes/reactions (on both sides) of the passing game seem a bit tighter.

I have only played a few games so far, so those are just initial impressions, but I am pretty happy with 12 so far. It is a little bit better in most of the areas I have had complaints about. I am glad I didn't listen to the critics, who most don't have a great appreciation for certain aspects of a good football game.
