I'm unable to log in via any of my Apple devices, though I suspect this might be a red herring. I'm still able to log into my account via Chrome on my Win11 system, which is how I'm able to even post this, but Firefox on the same system also fails.

In my case, the staff directly disabling 2FA for my account (because I was unable to do it) allowed me to log in successfully.

Fucked up two giveaways by copying&pasting the steam IDs.
The text box for the ID, however, places the ID in front of the already preset "0," and if you're not careful, the wrong ID is taken.
Instead of "1221250" for NORCO it tries to work with "12212500," which leads to a broken presentation.

I saw this thread and was about to start bitching about not being able to resub to gold, but then I started messing around with my PayPal payment set up and it worked. Not sure why it worked this time but normally the payment comes out of my bank account directly via PayPal, but on this occasion it hasn't?

I'm guessing it has to do with your lack of recent activity on the site. When I first got an account, I had to post 50 messages before I could create a thread. You have more than that in total, but only three recently. Maybe try engaging more and then see if you get the privilege.
Not sure what it would be other than that, so you could try asking a mod.

There's a NEOGAF achievement tied to thread creation. It was 50 for me back in 2022:

I think that achievement is linked to the ability to create threads. Promotion to Member from Neo Member.

I actually edited my post right before you replied because I misread the achievement. It's tied to creating a thread but doesn't say how many posts are needed to be a Member/Post threads. Could've sworn it was fifty posts but you've got me questioning it.

I don't know if mods like it when you "at" them directly, but you could try that here. Mod of War:Remastered and Faust are two of them, I think. Can't remember other mods' names at the moment. I wouldn't go directly to the boss after disparaging NeoGAF in your post just now lol

I've got a theory that there are controls put in place for accounts like yours that went dark for years and then come back. I've seen a few examples where those are people who come back just to throw crap at the wall or the accounts somehow got co-opted/hacked.
If you find out 100% what the issue is, let me know, because I'm curious. I don't think 500 posts are needed, but I've been wrong before.
