I'm so close to flipping on these super human goalies in NHL 13 especially in HUT. But no, my goalie can't make a stop to save his pathetic life!!! No matter how out of position they are, apparently they can morph their bodies to make saves that I didn't even think were possible even for an NHL video game, I mean seriously screw this at times and it seems to be a lot worse in HUT for some stupid reason. Also HUT still blows, makes it a pain to save up enough pucks but having to worry about everyone's dang contracts expiring every other game forcing you to buy small packs and wasting pucks.

I wish guys in your starter pack had like 50 game contracts. I hate gow quick they expire.

Yes, but saying they are expensive would be an understatement. For the price of center ice you get only 1 teams games. I think it's like 100 more if you want to watch every team.

Finally had enough for a jumbo pack and I get jack squat in it when it says you get at least 3 rare cards with my highest player being Kindl and 2 AHL scrubs but apparently it counts training cards as rares or something, bunch of BS. Screw this, I'm done with HUT, stick with GM connected, offline GM mode, regular versus or EASHL.
Clearly needs to be a profit ceiling for teams. You make x amount of profit and everything above that goes to the struggling teams. That sounds perfectly logical!

I find the idea of profit sharing completely ridiculous. It's not the Leafs fault that they make mountains of money and a team like Phoenix is sunk. A salary cap helps teams stay within a competitive window, it's up to individual teams to figure out how to turn profits in whatever market they're in. It's not rocket science!

In some markets, rocket science would be easier than turning a profit with an NHL team. I could put Tabris on Pluto before I could ever make the Coyotes profitable in the current NHL economic system.I guess my sarcasm didn't come through

I've been hard at work on it for 2 years. Unfortunately I'm terrible at any math higher than algebra so that complicates the engineering process.

Pretty much, the problem I was having was that I kept connecting on cross crease passes except every single one no matter how out of position the goalie was in, somehow made the save. But when they did it to my goalie, he let the puck in both times it was tried against him. :/
And these were like AHL goalies too, but apparently the AHL consists of only super man goalies for the opposing team while mine is a monkey.

I'll probably pick it up next week. I haven't bought one since 09, though I've played '11 and '12 significantly with some friends. Sounds like the physics have finally gotten to a more realistic point, which is what I was really waiting for. It also sounds like they really need to spend this year overhauling the UI and menus, they were slow and shitty in 09 and, from my experience with the more recent games, have only gotten more laden down with shit since then.
Also, we're getting close to the 20,000 post limit, do we have a lock out thread planned?
