It has Super C but not Contra?
WTF?
There seems to be some kind of weird problem with the NES version of Contra. It never made it to Virtual Console either.

Same question. Also is it the crappy emulation from Wii U?Can it play Carts?
It's Nintendo. The chances of something like messed up colors or high lag is, well, pretty high.
Yet again not including an AC adapter.
It's the dumbest trend. Stop it Nintendo spend the extra 50 cents.
PAL friends, Final Fantasy didn't get a release in the EU, this must means the collection is 60Hz right? They wouldn't reconstruct it for 50Hz
...right?
Do you know how ridiculously expensive it would be to "reprint" NES game cartridges? The components haven't existed for nearly two decades. They'd have to re-engineer how to do it.
You guys are a niche market, and other companies are already making NES-compatible systems.
I need Contra 1 and Double Dragon, pre orders up anywhere yet?
i thought those were done by gutting shit games no one would miss, rather than actually putting new carts into productionWhat about sourcing those who make repro carts already?

damn to bad, would be great if nintendo/sega released usb versions of their classic controllers
Someone will open it up and install more than 30 games. Glad this is HDMI.
Not yet, though SquareEnix games are finally turning up on it.The Nintendo Classic Mini gets Final Fantasy. Isn't this still not available on the Wii U (NA)?

The system comes packaged with an HDMI cable, an AC adapter
Read some speculation that this might be a stripped down 3DS in a box since all of those games are on the eshop with save state support.
I missed the NES, so I wanna enjoy some of the greats.
Can it play your old cartridges?

Repro carts are just re-purposed original games. They might have new cases and even PCBs if they're making enough to justify the cost, but the ROM chips are old stock or salvaged eproms.
Don't you have to like... sacrifice another cart to make a repro?
