I'm wondering the same. Such a terrible move leaving it out of the collection. It's by far the best of the three games. And they should've just skipped Simon's Quest.
maybe they couldn't get the VRC6 right

Target has shipped my preorder. It's on track to deliver anywhere between Wednesday and Friday. I'm so excited. Hopefully my Toys R Us order ships soon too.
Yeah, these controllers use the same connector as the Wii nunchuck. You can find extenders online, and I think best buy will be selling them for the NES mini specifically, too.So is there a way to extend these controller cables?

Anyone think Nintendo will eventually release a version with longer cables?
Or is this a one shot deal?
One shot deal. Best case scenario is if this thing sells like crazy, we get a SNES Classic Edition with longer cords.
There aren't any MMC5 games on this thing. May not have been deemed worth the effort to develop and test emulation for an advanced chip set for one game.I wonder why they left Castlevania 3 out though when they have the original and Simon's Quest on it.
This must vary based on where you live. The best buy add I read had a pretty large section dedicated to it.Hmm, this thing isn't being advertised at all in the Sunday paper. Toys r us had the only ad for it in a small part of the page.

Here (if you're in the US)
It is weird to me that this product seemingly doesn't exist in Canada... ?
Doesn't turn up in search results at BestBuy.ca or ToysRUs.ca
This is a bit baffling.
It will. $79.96. All major retailers will have them but no pre orders sadly. I work in a small Walmart and we are getting 36.

If I toss you a postal code would you be able to check order size to my local Walmart?
Just called my GameStop. They said first come first serve and that they should have them at opening on Friday.
Can you still preorder this anywhere, or is my best bet to wait in a line on the 11th?
Thanks for sharing.Looks tempting but I think I'll get a chromebook r13 instead ; )
Damn, I missed it.http://www.game.co.uk/en/nintendo-classic-mini-nintendo-entertainment-system-1664153
"GUARANTEED FOR CHRISTMAS YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WHEN THE CONSOLE HAS BEEN DISPATCHED"
Are they going to produce more next year? I'd just sell mine on Ebay then as I won't be able to use it until next year.
It will be funny to buy this and the PS Pro back to back![]()
Only if they're doing it for Dishonored 2, which I don't think is happening. Is anyone doing a midnight launch for these?

Also, if someone is trying to grab one of these on Amazon, what time is it likely to go up on the 11th? Do we know?
Just a heads up, I'm a store leader at a Game Stop and we are only getting allocated like 18 units-- a paltry amount. I would come early if you plan on getting one there.
This is a joke, FYI. It's like 3 ft. minimum.
Edit: D'oh, I misunderstood what your response was referencingThis is a joke, FYI. It's like 3 ft. minimum.
