Official Web site for Tecmo's online-enabled DOA compilation says the Xbox title has been pushed back.
When Dead or Alive Ultimate (then Dead or Alive online) was announced, many-an-Xbox-Live subscriber was giddy at the chance to get Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2 on one disc. The thought of being able to virtually kickbox their friends via Xbox Live would make the package even more enticing when it shipped to retail sometime in Q3 2004.
Now, it seems Xbox-ers will have to wait a little while longer to get their Kasumi on. The official Xbox Web site for the game now lists its release as "October 2004," the beginning of the fourth quarter. The admittedly slight delay was not officially announced, and Tecmo officials contacted by GameSpot offered no comment on the reasons for the delay.
