You compare the physical top 10 list by units.
Those don't include digital, tho.


But we could compare 1995 until 2011 to see the difference in top 3 by units and value.

No but digital wasn't that big of a thing until recently and even then there are many games were units are 70-80+% of sales.

Americans have the worst taste in games ever.

The Europe list for many countries would be similar except no N64 games and Rayman 1 would be 1995. Japan would have Final Fantasy, Dragons Quest, Yokai, and Wii games.

In that list I see

A lot of Nintendo first party exclusives
A handful of Xbox first party exclusives
Zero first party Sony exclusives.
