Anyone else having PC Xbox app achievements no longer popping on screen? They come to my phone though.

I verified all my settings and made sure all the right boxes are ticked. Anyone else having this issue?

Ok ill try that. Would restarting the PC do the same thing? Or is this fundamentally different?

restarting your pc could help more if just restarting the game bar manually doesn't work.

Yup, it's known bug after the latest update. Not only achievements, all notification not popping-up, no invites no messages nothing!

I also have the same issue. Xbox forum rep says they are aware of the issue but i ve seen nothing so far.
One would think it could be hotfixed within hours

I'm not getting the achievement notifications through the PC Xbox app any more. I get the achievement notifications via push notification on my phone.

Yeah I think it's a current bug on PC, they've not been popping on screen but I have been unlocking them and the phone app shows them.

Bumping this thread because I was googling this problem and good ole GAF came up. Did anyone find a solution for this?

I found that holding the Windows key and pressing G when in a game did a sort of force-refresh on GameBar and a few backdated achievements popped up.

I'll try that. I mainly look for achievements for Rewards points. Just need one per day. Nice getting the popup rather than having to check manually.

Lol It's never given me the notifications on PC.

While playing I can hear my phone buzz with the Xbox app but nothing on screen.

Achievements never pop up for me if the game is unfocused, basically the game bar overlay needs to be active on the game and also seeing that you are playing; I noticed that the start up screen of some games on the xbox app sometimes leave the game unfocused if it's running in borderless fullscreen.
Best thing you can probably do is use your mouse to click in the game's screen, and then using the game bar shortcut to open it and then close it.

I have zero history of playing Yakuza Kiwami on Game Pass PC. No achievements or playtime. Definitely didn't play it on Steam because it's not in my library.

Seems tylrdiablos solution worked. Got an achievement popup for taking a photo in Indy. Strange.

Huh, I've been having this issue for a while now, just figured it was because I'm in the Insider beta ring or some such. Will try the Win+G fix tonight.
