Perfect Dark 2 likely coming to "multiple platforms"

Good. Don't let quality titles die on a failed system. Nintendo spent the whole Switch generation rescuing titles from the Wii U.
 
This is boilerplate text. We did this before, do I have to find the job postings from playstation studios that say multiple platforms again?
Doesn't mean it won't come to PS5 day one (switch 2 less likely) but the job posting has nothing to do with it.
 
I assume every single upcoming MS game will come to PS5 and Switch 2 if feasible. The Gears and Halo announcements will happen before the end of the year and then we can stop being surprised when others keep making the move.

MS own the rights to 2 of the most influential console FPS IP's of all time in this(well GE ) and Halo, yet they've fucked both up royally.

This looks like a generic made by committee Deus Ex knock off that could have been made in 3 years tops. Why are we 7 years in?

Fallout is about nuclear fallout and has aliens and alien guns, I'm sure they're gonna have nods to the original in this.

Damn, that's deep pull! Got me looking and it doesnt seem like T&C is streaming anywhere. Found a Stallone blu-ray 5 pack with Demo man and Cobra (also The Specialist and Assassins...we'll just let those slide for now) though.
 
Shocking news. Interested for now. Need to see more detailed gameplay. Felt like there was a lot of promise for player freedom, but need to see that
 
I remember trying to buy Perfect Dark for my n64, and the ass clerk at ebgames wouldn't sell it to me cause it was Rated M, and even when I bought her, he tried to stop her for buying it for me citing violence, like wtf. She didn't give a shit. I was 16. Not like a 8 year old kid.

I got Perfect Dark as a gift when I was about 8 years old on Christmas day. My Mom saw a Girl on the cover and thought it was a good game to pick up.
 
Willing to bet dollars to donuts it'll be a timed exclusive to Xbox, then release on PS5/Switch 2 a year or two later. Similar to Pentiment, Grounded, and Hifi Rush.

My expectations are low, but I think the game will turn out decent. Like 8/10 decent. Something like Hitman quality or something. Not mind blowing, but fun for what it is.

Getting Crystal Dynamics on board should make it competent.
 
Can't fit that chin on the Xbox alone.

Cool for people who are still somehow keeping the faith with this franchise. I admire your gumption, whoever you are.
 
I don't know what the bigger shock is… that it's coming to other platforms or that this game actually exists and will be released at all one day.
 
Everything is coming to other platforms at some point.

We've literally just had Phil Spencer state that there are no walled off gardens for their games anymore.

You haven't even played the game to try and make out that PD was one of the most influential console FPS of all time is for the birds.

Oh BTW it was 5 years ago that the sequel to PD was announced, still less than the 8 years for Metroid Prime 4.

A Switch 2 version is plausible because the Series S version should be capable of being downscaled further and I think it'll probably run on the Steamdeck.

If that's the case then maybe the rumors of ESIV remake and FH5 on Switch 2 aren't so unrealistic?
 
i mean thats a very standard job requirement in development but pretty sure everyone expected it to be multiplat anyway

I played Perfect Dark 25 years ago and Goldeneye 3 years previous to that. Prior to PD and GE what console FPS's bested these games? Until Halo came along they where the best console shooters around.

Metroid prime is not an FPS in the traditional sense so im not sure why you would bring that up.
