I'd leave it on auto and try something in hdr. See if it switches itself.
Played Infamous in HDR with 2160p RGB setting. (LG 2016 Oled)
Starting to regret cancelling my pre-order now. Not buying from GAME so going to have to wait until Amazon get some more in stock
Argos it.
Have you tried on auto or 420 or have you tried switching to see if you can see a difference?

Old ps4 and vita packed up and ready for trade in!

First thing out of box HDD replaced with SSHD,the one that i installed to my og PS4.Formatted,now restoring backup from external hdd and it's slow AF.
I wish in a year where people want to go Mars we can just install one PS4's HDD to another with just some minor pasword entering kind of effort.

How is their returns policy? The main reason I'm avoiding GAME is they make you jump through hoops if there's anything wrong with your console.

Just trying them out now. So far in terms of noise compared to the original model I would say Pro mode games sound the same as the original and base mode games are whisper quiet. Need more time though.

Yeah. It's really breathtaking. Showcase game for sure.
Was surprised, didn't think this game would look as crisp as it did. Looks pretty great. (Only played the gauntlet so far)
Really pleased with the Pro so far. Looking forward to trying out more titles when they finish downloading.

Sounds like a CeX issue rather than an issue with your console if it is indeed not stolen.
Just take it to another store and trade it in there.
lol. I did just that, but still it took 11 hours to transfer 880GB b/c the clock went up instead of down while transferring!
restoring the back up in the pro is pretty fast, only 3-4 hours >>..

Jeez..... I'm going to clear my games out before backing up. Should only have around 500GB or so.
Why is it so slow, PS4 has USB 3.0

This is why i rather redownload everything.
Nope, just switched to the perceived "max setting" and left it like that. Might try that after work.
Because it's something else limiting the speeds, just like the PS4.
Rgb will only do 8 bit colour. If you have a 10bit TV and an hdr game you may well see a difference.
I'm pretty sure Game uses the same database too.
Only thing I can think of is that I was refreshing Argos listings that weekend as I didn't have a present order to grab a return or expired reservation and managed to get it. If it came off the back of a lorry and they convinced Argos to take it as a return without receipt if it's not just a mistake.
Pretty sure nothing moved, it was packaged very firmly like consoles usually are.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was taking each block of data, de-encrypying it on the original PS4, transferring it, then re-encrypting on the new PS4

Console turned up, swapped HDD over, plugged it all up and installed system software from USB. Got in to the XMB and selected restore from back (which I did last night on my OG PS4).
All going well so far.
Will use this spare hour to get afew bits done around the house and setup my OG in another room so I have all afternoon and evening to hammer some gaming time on the Pro!
Don't know what to try first, with the Pro updates I have COD IW, MW Remaster, Dishonored 2, The Last of Us, Infamous First Light and Black Ops 3. Still unsure if Battlefield One has an update or not although improvements have been seen according to the specific thread on this.

That's what I did. Downloading what you want to play now and then just queuing up everything else for overnight works fine if you have no transfer limits.

Ah yeah, im just gonna download the games i know im gonna play for now then get the others as i feel like playing them. Im not doing all at once.
that's exactly what is doing. It's not just transferring the data.
