I know you are joking but Injustice sold pretty well at the tail end of last gen and MKX is the best selling fighting game this gen. So it is not surprising that Injustice 2 sold so well.
It charted so high that it cannot even been seen on the chart. KNACKKK 2 BABY!!!
But in all seriousness, it is not a surprise it did not do well. I don't think anyone asked for a sequel to that doo doo game.

Given how the US market (esp. at this time of year) is dominated with sports titles and FPS, I guess it's not too surprising Mania was gone from the US charts that fast, despite opening at #3. Still disappointing though.
That said, while it debuted at a lower spot (#8), I really expected Mania to have a better treatment from Europe though; given Sega/Sonic's popularity there. Crash took a hit but was still able to hold on, and somehow Rayman Legends was able to actually get back on the charts, despite having been available for years now. At least it's still making waves on the eShop at least.
Wow at MvC: Infinite Bomba and Knack 2 cracked. Cacpcom and Sony am cry.
