For all of you with the same trophy hunting illness as me. What platinum are you currently working on? Post your latest plats here too!

Could also use this thread for boosting or partners for any co-op or multiplayer trophies.

My last plat was Miles Morales. I'm currently working on Immortals (and absolutely loving it) - really just need to wrap up some collectibles and should have the plat.

Here's my current card

And before that guy shows up - I know you think trophies/achievements are lame a waste of time and you never look at them and you turn notifications for them of and on and on and on. Duly noted. Again.

Working on the Tetris Effect platinum, only need the last hidden trophy for getting 1 million rotations, it fucking takes foreeeeeeeeeeeeever

Much like an snk pretzel motion the only thing you can do is keep going.

I briefly considered automated rigs but I'm too lazy and stupid to work something out. When I'm grinding it I tend to put on a tv show and just go into a slow marathon mode and hammer the rotation buttons without looking lol

Just tell your nieces and newphews to play the game. Children have unlimited amounts of time.

Tip my hat to you on that one, I could never even approach the plat for Tetris Effect. Love the game but knew that one was never in the cards for me.

Although I said the same thing about Bloodborne and Dark Souls initially, but went back and powered through both.

A few of them are pretty tough but it's mostly just a grind. IIRC the hardest was probably the 15 combo one, you really have to focus on that, it's not trivial to get 15 line clears in a row

172 Grats on that, i think i am only at 24 now.
I have given up on plats, now that i play full 4 pillars its hard to get into a single plat/achievement system when you spread your games around

more power to you !

Aggelos Plat.
Have to finish it on "Hard"
It's a joke, should be called "Cheap"
No new enemy or boss patterns to excite or challenge, just everything hits HARD, ridiculously so.
I'm up to the last boss, and after viewing a strategy guide for the (Horribly long) fight, I'm beginning to question if it's worth the stress.

I only recently joined psnprofiles.com and saw my completion was under 27% so I'm in the process of trying to either get the platinum if I can or at least bring it up the overall completion rate. I dragged it up to 30 and the dream is to be north of 50%. My backlog for some is embarrassing, platinumed Rachet and Clank on ps5 ps plus collection and I've previously attempted it on Vita and couldn't get into it before. The ps4 version was a pleasure. Currently on Bugsnax

First - great username.

I'm in the same boat. If you didn't know, any game that you never got a single trophy on you have the ability to delete and that'll up your completion percentage if you want.

Thanks. I have games with one or two trophies ruining me. It's good for the backlog and my wallet. I had one trophy in Metro Redux and looking at it I need to rectify that after Bugsnax.

My latest platinum is Maneater. Very enjoyable game if you like dark humour and Jaws / Sharknado flicks. It's quite short and easy to plat, but I still had a lot of fun.

I was thinking about platinuming AC Valhalla, but it would take way too much time to explore the entire map. I'll probably skip Cyberpunk as well because of the requirements to do all gigs and NCPD requests (and not because I hate police ;)).

#174 - Sackboy!

great game and has one of the ten roughest trophies I've probably gotten. Incredibly challenging.

Currently working on Immortals and Cyberpunk. The Cyberpunk plat would've been a definite if not for my two bugged side quests that won't complete. Hoping the incoming patches fix them somehow.

With Immortals, I just need to fight the last boss and then grind out mats for upgrades and complete a bunch of those tedious as fuck constellation puzzles.

My last platinum was 13 sentinels. It wasn't that hard since you get most of the trophies just from beating the game.

24 platinum's here , at the moment I am working on Final Fantasy 12 , I am trying to complete the bestiary and getting all concurrences (which is a ball ache) then I am waiting for the new league in Path Of Exile i am one trophy away from Platniuming that i have to kill Uber Atziri at the alluring abyss, i checked and as of today i have 1325 hours into POE on PlayStation

Mine. Playing through Dragon Quest 11S since I love it and all that. Don't always go for trophies but I find them to be a great incentive for me to do things I perhaps wouldn't bother with otherwise.

Love that little popup jingle.

One trophy away from the Sekiro platinum. Just have to grind skill points, but in the process I've gotten really good at this game. Most bosses I can just kill on the first try in any NG+(+) now.

I used to be into trophy hunting, but thankfully I've fallen out of it. It was never really platinums for me, but I liked having high percentages in every game. I tried to keep my overall completion rate above 80%, but after I got married my wife started throwing games on my profile and dropping them so I learned pretty quick to stop caring. It's honestly pretty liberating for me, just playing to have fun again and not worry about trophies.

One of the very few I've abandoned, I need to pick it back up again. Congrats.

Copped a PS5 yesterday so I'm on my way to platting Astro's Playroom which is super fun and chill.

Gonna head out and grab Spidey Miles Morales later so that'll be next up 🙂

I'm currently back on Demon's Souls. I had all of this on my plate that I wanted to clear so I can just dig in and put some real time into this. Going completely blind, no trophy road map or anything. It'll drag it out substantially but I want that first play completely blind. Loving this game and looking forward to adding the plat to my Dark Souls and Bloodborne ones.

Ok finally platinumed Final Fantasy 12, i got the last concurrence (Luminescence). I really enjoyed it most probably my favourite Final Fantasy.

I think ill start playing Slay the Spire later, it seems like a game you can put on for twenty minutes now and again a bit like Binding of Isaac (obviously completely different games but playing one run now and again).

Platinum 64 was Astros Playroom. Very easy but the game itself was fantastic. It was basically a giant reflection of Playstations history condensed into a really fun platformer. 65 will most likely be Demon's Souls. Only one trophy left before platinum.

Sekiro Platinum finally unlocked. It took me ~3.5 hours of griding in NG++ to unlock that skill tree at the end.

I'm debating if I should try the Dark Souls 3 one now.

I've missed out on two good plats recently - Cyberpunk 2077 because of one of the gigs being glitched and not starting and Blair Witch for not petting Bullet enough. I'll probably skip on both unless gigs are fixed in one of Cyberpunk's patches for older saves as well. Still it sucks to have two 90%+ games in your trophy collection. ;)

Which Cyberpunk missions? I can't get the plat either for the same reason 😠

Getting Warmer (northern part of Japantown in Westbrook), apparently it was fixed in the 1.05 version, but I must've unlocked the icon while playing the earlier one

A recent update changed how the trophy levels work, so I jumped from level 20 to 320-something. Did all the trophies get weighted heavier or something?

Ok I have two in City Center that won't complete even though I fulfilled the objectives.

Yeah the game has multiple trophy breaking bugs. A friend of mine can't finish 2 cyberpsycho quests. I also had one glitching on me, but I've noticed it right away and reloaded the checkpoint.

Yeah me too. Love the game but it really sucks that you have to play and be wary of that shit happening at any time. I was over this back in 2011 with the PS3 Skyrim release 🤣

I'm gonna attempt this again now that it's on PS5 at 60fps. I know I'm setting myself up for djsappointment

Afaik platinums are worth more points now so you may jump more levels if you have more of them.

All trophies have always carried a different weight. What changed is that the leveling system went from 0-100 to 0-999. So your old rank scaled to how you call in the new system.

Platinum no. 65 is Demon's Souls. Roughly 90 hours, but you can do it much quicker than that. Multiple playthroughs is required though. Easier and less obtuse than the original. Pure bladestone required around 20 minutes of farming, world tendency was easier to figure out due to new UI and there were no obnoxious trophies for max upgrading with all the stones.

I enjoyed the new boss specific trophies, they added a new and interesting challenge, but I am disappointed that Bluepoint removed the trophy were you acquire all the rare weapons.

Overall, it was a fantastic remake of a fantastic game. It really shines now the way it was always intended to. It holds up incredibly well, especially the clever level design and fun bosses. The new and shiny graphics are outstanding, and adds so much depth and atmosphere to a game that already drowns heavily in it.

My only criticism is that Bluepoint perhaps was a little bit too respectful to the source material. I wouldn't mind if they added a couple of more spells and weapons for build variety, just so that it can match the later entries in content.

66. Gun crazy

Not a fan of these platinums, which are so easy you don't even have to break a sweat. It took roughly 5, maybe 7 minutes to get it. Bought the game because I love 2D run n guns, and this is in the same vein as Rapid Reload and Gunstar Heroes, only it's not as good. The game is very short and it has barely any replay value. It could have been remedied by making trophies tied to some challenges, but the only thing you have to do is complete level 2 and the platinum unlocks. Quick, dirty and pointless.

I have 3-4 plats like this. They put it up, you can plat in 10 minutes and the games are a buck. I wish they didn't exist because I don't have the willpower not to.
