Don't get me wrong PS4 did have great games but it's an anniversary of PlayStation not PlayStation 4 and other consoles had better games overall.

PS4 is Playstation.

What's funny is I think most people begging for Bloodborne won't even play it again. I think it's just a meme at this point. Bloodborne is more difficult than Elden Ring. Only 20% of PS4 gamers even finished it.

Well, Bloodborne was given away on the PS Plus monthly games and the PS Plus Collection, was on PS Now and nowadays remains available at no additional cost on the PS Plus Extra game catalog.

So the trophy percentage numbers are skewed.

Yep.

Even though Arkham Asylum and City (and Origins) will always be PC games in my mind as they are what brought me to PC gaming at the time thanks to all the Nvidia extra features that made them a generation above what was available on console, Arkham Knight is to me a PS4 game for the opposite reason.

I don't only want the themes to be permanent, I also want the PS1 boot sound as a permanent option!

the Steam Deck allows you to use different boot animations, I think that's a cool way to customise your system

They start a 30 year anniversary thank you video with... Horizon and their most recent "cinematic" blockbusters? I expected way more PS1 and PS2 stuff. Instead, most of it is just flashed up almost as an afterthought. Basically, this is how I would expect modern day, pompous Sony to make this video. The artwork of the themes gets in the way of the game wallpapers. I kinda wish they implemented the themes in a more discrete way, by changing the UI fonts and adding subtle visual effects to resemble the old consoles. The sound effects they added are fine but the visuals are too much for my taste.
