Quick hypothetical, an Ability that acts as Rapid Spin when the Pokemon enters the battle, but also flings Spikes and Stealth Rock to the opponent's side.

How broken would that be?

I like it. Maybe a bit broken. I think if they kept it on only on a couple evo lines it might be ok balance wise (as to not completely remove the utility of stealth rock and defog).

Well, that was more Naruto than I thought. Also pervert old man strikes again. And did they actually showed on-screen death?

And so Greninja joins the "Pokemon that gets special treatment that they get multiple versions of themselves as major players" in the anime, alongside Charizard, Lucario and Pikachu.

Here's next ep preview. They really made the ep end in a cliffhanger today.

Why is Pokemon so addicting? I just finished up Black 2 a little while ago, then played Zombies Ate My Neighbors and now I'm replaying Soul Silver, this time playing the Storm Silver hack.

The last 20 episodes or so have sealed the deal that XY is now my favorite season. Better than Kanto, better than Battle Frontier. Everything just works (besides maybe hanging out with Korrina too long) and episodes that would have been painfully dull any other series just work now. Show no longer ranges from horribly dull to pretty good, now its somewhere between ok and really good every week.

It seems like whenever CoroCoro has something good, it leaks earlier---so the closer we get to the 15th without anything, the less likely it is to be something worth waiting for.

Exclusive to Unown.

I was thinking for a Mega Claydol. Boost its Defense and Special Defense, with a small increase in Special Attack, with that Ability helping expand its role as a Rapid Spinner.

Not always. There is no pattern to when it leaks. Trust me, I see patterns everywhere. It all depends on who gets it early.

Has anyone played Storm Silver before?

I'm fighting Bugsy, but he's just way too hard for me. Fire attacks are weakened because of Rain Dance and that Heracross has Counter and Aerial Ace. My Geodude and Combusken i brought in seem to not be important all in this fight.

I like these hacks, but at times I feel it's too challenging. Each Gym Leader feels like an secret boss in another rpg.

Speaking of that, as I'm someone that rarely goes to orchestras and stuff, do you feel comfortable attending such things?
Totally - any given person in the crowd that night was nerdy enough to be a potential best friend. I felt completely at home with the audience, and the show was absolutely masterful - I can't recommend it highly enough.

On another note (heh), I'm trying to finalize my Christmas list. I'm looking to get some Pokemon reading material, and I remember hearing that some early Pokemon manga wasn't necessarily aimed towards kids, and had some mature and/or violent stuff in them. Always sounded interesting, so I ran an amazon search for Pokemon manga today, and GOOD LORD - so many variations and arcs and options. I have no clue where to begin, or what's more for children vs. what's for the older crowd. Hell, maybe even those violent mangas I heard about so long ago never even were translated into English.

I'm also considering this:

Does anybody have it? Is it as awesome as it looks?

If there are any other cool Pokemon-related books out there, I'm open to suggestions :D

Most people there have probably never gone to a symphony orchestra before. Honestly the only times I've gone to an orchestral performance are all video game related as I'm not really into classical music. Video Games Live, Video Games Live again, Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess, and Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions...

Is Leech Seed glitched in gen IV? I'm using it against Whitney's Clefable, but it's doing nothing. I've also used Poison Powder about 5 times and it's missed each time.

Magic Guard blocks non-attack damage including Leech Seed.

Poison Powder has 75% accuracy so you probably just had a string of bad luck.

Is Magic Guard an ability of Clefable's? Also why do we have three moves that just inflicts poison?

So more than one type of Pokemon can learn it. Just like there's more than one way to put Pokemon to sleep.

Plus differences in accuracy, and range in doubles etc. But are there three moves that only inflict poison? I'm thinkin Poison Gas and Poison Powder... There's Toxic but that's not normal poison, it's more potent so I don't think it counts.

Edit: I guess Toxic Spikes I forgot about? Though that's an entry hazard so I'd consider it separate.

There's more moves than that that inflict poison, and there's two different types of poison, poisoned and badly poisoned.

They said *just* inflict poison. How many moves can you think of that do nothing but inflict poison? I think the couple I pointed out are the only ones.

I had no clue there are three different types, what's the difference?

I forgot about Toxic Spikes too, so that's four, but I understand that one because the conditions are different for it.

Two types. Poisoned status inflicts the same amount of damage each turn. Badly Poisoned, caused by Toxic for example, increases in damage each time. I think there's a difference in the text color for badly poisoned now but I can't recall for sure.

Edit: Also, after a battle is finished, badly poisoned becomes normal poisoned status.

You're going to be with thousands of likeminded people. You will be with kindred spirits. Comfort is at maximum (depending on the cushioning of the chairs)
