The game is very good. They managed to update the game to fit the format(quick on the go matches) without losing the essence of the TCG.

Downside to it being so new is that up until 2 weeks ago there were only 3 or 4 really good competitive decks from 2 expansions. With the new expansion that recently came out, that's almost doubled now, so there's more variety in what you're going up against. Hopefully that trend continues.

Downside is they launched what is without a doubt the worst trading system/economy of any game ever.

I uninstalled this a while back. Too slow and boring. I hit a wall in battles with my cards and I’m not spending money on both physical cards and digital cards haha.

I play TCG live which is the full card game and you get free digital packs with each physical pack. Much better!

Have we really bent over enough that microtransaction gambling is now "good"? Still feels depressing to me that any company make 500M in 3 months in this way. That's partly why there are so many layoffs, because CEOs want more and more and will sacrifice people's jobs to get it.

I just started my free 2 week Premium trial today. If in the next two weeks I don't pull some major heat I'm gonna delete my account and forget I ever played this.

I'm running a Palkia EX deck right now with 2 Misty. 97.8% of the time Misty is useless, but on those rare occasion Misty's useful, being able to end a match in turn 1 when you're not supposed to have energy is kind of funny.

Dialga EX decks can eat a bag of dirt though.

I got a Rainbow Infernape from a booster the other day, but I got a Rainbow Gallade Ex from a wonder pick, it felt amazing to pick the right card. If I manage to pull a full art Darkrai Ex from a wonder pick I'd be over the moon

Yup, but I have 0 crowns. And only 2 Rainbows. Never got even 1 God Pack. Just got my 45 Win Emblem. Been running Moltres/Infernape with Dawn. I had more success with Dark Rai Ex/Koffing & Koga but its soooo slooowwww.

I just noticed that you have to discard ALL fire energy from Infernape Ex after each turn, so you can't stack it like Charizard Ex, which makes it less viable (but still pretty powerful)

Well, this is why you use Moltres as a storage of energy of sorts. And Dawn as the energy push when you need it. The only issue is its a 3 stage evolution so it takes time but once you roll it, its over quickly. I only have issues against Palkia EX due to the weakness.

Palkia/Manaphy got me 45. I would love to play around with Darkrai EX and a bunch of colourless pokemons, but the gambling gods have decided that I will get a million Fan Rotoms and I will be happy with it.

God I hate this meta so much with Palkia Misty if not tails ends it all on the first move. And then Manaphy with Vaporeon >_> I'mma hit your ass. Darkrai/Koffing combo with Weavil though beats it.
