Thinking of getting tattoos on my neck behind/underneath my ears. How much do you think small, one colour tattoos, a few centimetres in total area, would cost? I'm guessing they're going to be very painful and cause headaches after the session?
Cool! It'll be my first tattoo, so I guess the more painful it is, the better. It'll make getting subsequent tattoos easier, I think. I'm aiming for the ribs in the end, so having a good estimate of the pain will be nice. :loltinabina said:like a bunch of little ones? maybe 75-90? the pain on the neck is pretty bad, i almost fainted getting mine done there but if they are small it will be fast and no biggy.

Think about this for a second... it's DRIVING HOOKS THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND THEN HANGING FROM IT.

I was thinking of getting some really small ones. Mainly numbers that are important to me. I was thinking of getting the area code of the town I grew up in, but I don't want to be mistaken for a gang member. Haha. I have to do a little more thinking before I go drop a hundred bucks.

go talk to an artist tell him what you're looking for give him a few days to draw some stuff up for you. If you have any pics of ouroboros take them with you and show him. Thats really your best bet. Also don't be afraid of saying you don't like something he or she drew remember this is going to be on you forever. Sorry to hear about your brother man.Enojado said:Looking to get my 2nd tattoo sooner rather than later. It'll be a type of tribute to my late brother - he took his own life in July 2001
On his left forearm he had an Ouroboros. For that reason and many others, I'm looking to get that tattooed on me. I haven't decided where it'll go and I have yet to find a design that I like. I am shit at drawing so designing my own isn't an option.
it will lighten up a little after its done peeling. Don't pick at it either just let it heal.y2dvd said:I just got my tattoo a few hours ago and I'm a little worried. The ink is really dark compared to my pale skin! Will the ink wash and fad a bit after awhile?

I'm a big mythology nut, particularly Egypt and Norse as well as the cultures that were around at the time, was gonna get one of these maybe:
The Shen has always led the pack, it's an Egyptian symbol associated with eternity, the cartouche comes from it. Leo is my birth sign and the other 2 are runes, Ansuz typically corresponds with Odin and Fehu (Fe) with Frejya.
They're just the symbols, not necessarily the design. Got absolutely no idea where I'd put them either. Inner forearm maybe? Seems a bit too cliche though.

If you feel you must tattoo Chinese words, then for goodness sake make sure that the words are not by someone who does not know Chinese.
