I'll take a look at that later. I really liked RE2R, but since I read that RE3R has a lot of cut content, I skipped out on that one.
Keep in mind that, while RT would completely resolve the broken and ugly SSR in RE2 (and also provide some nice bounce effects along with much more realistically lit/shaded environments), it also means no longer locked 60fps.
Game actually very rarely hits 60fps with RT enabled on a regular PS5 and goes often to the low 40's, so these releases should be particularly exciting for PS5 Pro future owners who will be able to finally enjoy these games looking their best at a stable 60fps.
That being said, IQ is much improved regardless of RT due to higher resolution (and this affects SSR as well so, while still awful, reflections are also noticeably improved over the PS4 source even with RT disabled) and better antialiasing. There's some nice use of DualSense too.
P.S. I'd give a shot to RE3R. Feels more like the spin-off RE3 was always meant to be, but it's still a fun and polished game in the end (superb presentation, in this regard considerably better than RE2R imo).
Just a bit short and too linear, and dumbed down dismemberment/disabled physics sucks. Must have done 50+ runs of RE2R at this point but I believe I'm at max 4 playthroughs for RE3R.
