If this is true I really want to see it now.
This looks to be right up there with "Old Dogs"...Prime candidate for "How Did This Get Made".
If this is true I really want to see it now.
Saw it last night. If you liked the first one you will love this one.

Now this is no joke: funnyman Adam Sandler says he was attacked by a cheetah on a recent trip to Africa with his family and he has the video footage to prove it.
The Grown Ups 2 star described the fearful encounter to David Letterman during an appearance on his late-night show Wednesday. Sandler, 46, says that while on the private safari, a guide told him he could feed the cheetahs. "This is a true story ... there were very nice people at this place, and let me in with the cheetah and the owner said I could feed the cheetah water with my hands. So I did it, and something went a little bit wrong,' he told Letterman.
The video footage shows Sandler reaching down into a pool of water with his hands cupped, and then a cheetah lunging at the actor's back. The animal was quickly pulled off. "What happened was, they said you were not supposed to bend that low with water."
"I was very nervous," says Sandler. "It was fast. ... I had a stiff neck at the time, so when he jumped on me, I was like, 'Oh, my neck.' ... And when he jumped on me, all I was going to let him do was eat me. I wasn't going to fight back!"
Quite a scare!
It depresses me that people can be manipulated so thoroughly by a formula so lazy and hackneyed that the people making it just don't even give a shit anymore. They're making it so poorly that they're having a laugh at the audience that are going to see it.
Like: "Haha, you dumb fucks, so dumb, you don't even give a shit, or are too dumb to see all these absurdly poor effects - on par with our absurdly poor writing. Whatever, you dumb fucks can fund our fun, we'll just dial it in in the laziest possible way."
It's almost masterful how fuckin' atrociously poorly made the movie is. But that doesn't bode well for humanity on average. Any hope that we can create a culture that rises above the lowest common denominator is thoroughly dashed when the masses show that, that is indeed not possible!
How David Spade escaped the fiery pit that is Rules of Engagement I'll never know.

looooolGroan Ups?
Saw this yesterday, had no beef with the first movie, so I watched this one because I enjoy Sandler and James.
Had plenty of laughs again, mostly of "omg, really?", "you went there"? "chuckles but chuckles nonetheless.
It is of course nowhere near the quality of a King Of Queens in terms of actual comedy or even the usual Sandler movies, but it is more like the Hangover-esque comedy with a good cast.
There are no stomachache laughing scenes in this movie however, I can confirm this.
Man, you are like a Bizzaro version of me. For the sake of experimentation, do you enjoy "The Big Bang Theory" and "Twilight"?
