Any word on the state of the shader compilation? You guys think it might be possible to precompile it before playing the game some day? Or should we settle with how it's currenrly working?

You can download them directly from Sony's servers on PC. There are tools to do so AFAIK.

Yeah. The compatibility list is kind of out of date.
You are better off just running the game and seeing if it works.
I notice the emulator will act weird if you have a game disc in your Blu-ray drive. It will try to spin it up.

Finding the game patches is kind of a pain in the butt.

Go into this discord: RPCS3 Discord

Right click the game in the RPCS3 emulator, copy serial

Go to the Bot-spam section

As a message put !psn check updates followed by the copied serial

Ex. If I wanted updated for MGS4 it would be:

!psn check updates BLUS30109

Sony should just embrace emulation on PS5. I’m curious if the reason they haven’t done it is because of jailbreak concerns? (Another potential attack vector).

Killzone 2/3 always looked amazing. I recently replayed them on an actual PS3 and they still looked great especially on OLED.

I do find it funny that the channel name is Bang4BuckPCGamer and all the recent videos at least are on a 4090 which is definitely not Bang4Buck.

Sony can make emulator themselves if they want, rather than emulation, I think I bet there is MGS4 in development by Konami right now, if MG3D success... I wish so, i want 4 in PS5 as well. if Konami release remaster, even emulation, I think it will be blown.

The game that made me buy a PS3, the graphics and the intense war atmosphere was amazing and still is. Sadly Guerilla never approached this level again.

Yeah when he started he was bang4buck and then he made money .
Similarly there is channel named GTX1050ti, he started making videos with 1050ti, now he makes 4090 videos

Looks like we are still one GPU/CPU generation away from achieving a constant 4k/60fps in this title, but once we do it will be amazing.
