DAY. FUCKING. ONE.

I loved this show when I was a teen - one of the last cartoons I would watch before shifting to anime like Dragon Ball. Big Cheese was a real goofball, the soundtrack was fun and the cartoon was just TMNT but more self-aware with its silliness.

I also don't really know if that is an in-game filter or they just blurred the video for the purposes of the trailer but the picture has that 90s TV show palette and the art is 100% spot-on, the cutscenes looks straight out of the anime during super moves.

Amazing work.

Wonder if they ever aired this in Spain, those characters sure ring a bell.

In any case, man that's how you adapt a TV animated show into a game, looks great! Reminds me of the Wonderboy 3 remake.

Wow. I used to watch this on Saturday mornings in the 90s. I haven't thought of the show for decades, but now I'm hit with a massive nostalgia wave.

Keeping an eye on this one.

Yea used to come on before school for me. Late 90's. I wasn't a massive fan of it but I did like it.

I fucking remember this one! It was a classic! And the visuals looks really good, feels like you're actually playing the anime.
Totally in.

Can't say I was expecting this at all, lol. Totally remember this and caught when I was younger a few times. I'm down!

Damn WTF. My childhood right here. Except where I lived it wasn't called that, but *phlem* HATULIM HA SAMURIAIM.

well holy crap time to find a copy of this somewhere. (The anime, not the game, but also probably the game soon enough)

Fun fact, the "samurai pizza cats" is a completely different show to the original japanese show "Kyatto Ninden Teyandee".
When Saban localised the show, they didn't have access to any translated scripts, so they just wrote entirely new plots for every episode lol.
Never heard of this. Maybe I'm old.
You should have heard of this if you're "old", it's not a new show.

Never watched this as a kid but the name rings a bell. Was probably too busy playing video games lol

Wow - this is Power Rangers in a way! XD

This is exactly what anime/anime games needs these days.

Stop over saturated and always vibrant colors and you get this awesome "washed out" that gives that awesome 90s vibe.

This was essentially a joke dub/version of the Japanese anime "Cat" Ninden Teyandee. The English version doesn't resemble the tone of the original in any way and was basically trying to take advantage of the Ninja Turtles craze in the west.

While I'm big into pixel art, the anime style art and video shader in-game looks amazing.
I should sit down and watch the anime some day.

edit: Steam page is up

I was unfamiliar with this cartoon and was wondering why the hell a relatively obscure (but fun) band was getting a video game.

Was Big Cheese's persona/sexuality altered in the Western version?

Another 90s product of the TMNT Craze.

Japanese language trailer. Article of Gamespark mentions it is BLAST ZERO, a Dutch studio working on the game.
Original Japanese voice actors & narrator also return.

Blast Zero's teaser.
