Can I use this thread to ask why gas is going up to $5.23 in my city? I just drove past a gas station and there were, like, twenty cars there. And I got home and I had a bunch of messages from family saying that I better go fill up because gas is going up to $5+ tomorrow morning. My mom's up in SC and she said that it's already that high at a few pumps. Wtf?

Yea, thats most likely it. Prices down in Southeastern GA have went up .50 cents in the last 12 hours (up to $4 a gallon), so it looks like everyone is getting into the game.
