S2 is AMAZING so far. Miss Huang is honestly the best thing on television since the Moon Landing. Some of her scenes had me legit belly laughing.
Latest episode was kinda slow, but not every episode can be 10/10, but the pacing thus far has been honestly astonishing. This is especially obvious after coming from Silo S2, which was also great, but this blows that out of the water by miles.
Also, I checked in on /tv/ to see how they're feeling about it, since reddit is as sanitized as it gets, and picked up something interesting: Apparently in the first draft of the script Helly R was 19. There's a lot more changes, but this was one of the more intriguing ones to me, since it says a lot about the author (or at least the kind of story this was intended to be) that he chose to specifically make her that young at first, but the Hollywood execs obviously didn't let this fly. Never forget what they took from you ): Didn't read the the whole thing because I'm pretty sure it will give some major hints away, for example MDR is called "The Culling Department" in it, and I'm pretty sure that's something that ultimately will very much come into play in the show. Obviously this is is nothing new, that script had been online for years.
In the same vein I refuse to read the Lexington Letters (it's like an 18page pdf on Apple Books which is like a prequel/side story to the show) but obviously they're hugely important in figuring this out as well. Maybe I'll cave this week and finally read at least that.
E: Also, I rewatched S1 right before starting S2 and that turned out to be a really good decision.
