I gave in and switched about ten years ago and I’ve never once thought about going back to Android.
How is a phone insecure? You don't have to tweak anything on an android phone it's an option. Sorry you guys are getting drip fed customization. How are widgets working for you now that iphone finally has them?Android has been shit for a while now.
Just get an iPhone. Unless you like insecure shit you have to always “ tweak “
Well sometimes it just doesn’t feel like it’s good enough. How is a phone insecure?
I think you're projecting little buddy. It'll be ok. You're good enough. Do you need a hug?Well sometimes it just doesn’t feel like it’s good enough.
I'd rather the Chinese look at my dick than my neighborhood NSA agent.Hello CCP.
Yes, because you need that wallpaper apps or emulators.I've only had the opposite experience as some of you in here. Tried using an Iphone 6s for a while and had to go back to android. Only if side-loading happens would I ever switch.
Because that's all android offers. Are you ok?Yes, because you need that wallpaper apps or emulators.
They just do.I'm here with bated breath anxiously waiting for someone to end this by telling us how Apple products "just work"
Yes, I do. I'm running a DS emulator on my Microsoft Surface Duo, it's great.Yes, because you need that wallpaper apps or emulators.
Absolutely not. Apple is extremely anti consumer and they purposely fuck up your phone with their latest firmware so it slows down and forces you to buy a new one.So early this year my 5 year Samsung Galaxy s9+ finally died, and I didn't like any of the phones on the market, so I decided to buy a refurbished one in BackMarket. It was a Galaxy s20 FE and it seemed fine at first, but has had lots of problems these last few weeks.
I'm looking at all the phones on the market in the US, and I'm coming to the sad realization that the iPhone might be my best bet for a replacement. I like Android, but I need a phone that can survive my factory job and last for a while; I use a prepaid service, so no discounts for me!
I could use some advice ya'll I need a decent phone; my S20 FE is still alive, but just barely.
I’m sorry, what else does it offer over iOS, more bloat and less security?Because that's all android offers. Are you ok?
I'm not here to educate you wallow in your willful ignoranceI’m sorry, what else does it offer over iOS, more bloat and less security?
It really depends what speaks to you. Side loading apps is huge for me. I do like having the option to have apps that aren't approved on my phone. Things like pornhub and xvideos as just two examples of apps you won't find on the apple store that I like having a dedicated app for. Another great app is tachiyomi for manga reading. Things like YouTube revanced that you wouldn't find in iOS app store and yes, the emulators that are a hassle to have on an iOS device.I hate iPhone vs android debates, each side brings up “features”, android hacker culture, help me out what “features” does android have that iPhone doesn’t?
iPhones are amazing nowadays but so are high end Android phones.
You really can’t go wrong with either ecosystem. Just depends on your needs.
This isn’t true.Absolutely not. Apple is extremely anti consumer and they purposely fuck up your phone with their latest firmware so it slows down and forces you to buy a new one.
You can't use any of your peripherals unless it's Apple and you'll be locked into their exo system which is horrible and extremely expensive. Stay away as far as possible.
I don't know if iPhones are better in terms of intuitiveness these days, at least not in all areas. I've had my XR for years now, and some of the UI stuff is a mess.iPhone is better in terms of performance, UI, intuitiveness.
just remember the apple walled garden has barbed wire on the inside so once youre in theres no escaping and no freedom.
If you like being told exactly what you are allowed to grow and precisely how/where/when/whyAt least the garden is nice.
They're guilty of putting put bloatware on there, but I agree with you. I had a older gen Galaxy and I really liked it.Why are samsung phones so hated? I genuinely dont understand. I have bought mid range galaxy a52s for 350 euros, it has 120hz screen, amazing display everything is fast, ui is great and the battery life is amazing. I haven't noticed any slowdown in a year i have it. It feels like a high end phone.
My next one will be s23, i like the smaller size of that phone, when the price drops.

I feel like Sony phones never get a look in, but I loved my Z3 Compact. That served me well for a decent amount of time.Reputation. TouchWiz used to be an utter pig at times.
But a mixture of more powerful SoCs, more and faster RAM and storage, and Samsung (well Korean in general because LG were bad too) devs getting better have made that a thing of the past.
It's been almost a decade since most Samsung devices were bloated and slow. Or rather, became so after about a year.
Sony have always been a good bet apart from the time they briefly followed the headphone jackless horde.
