That video has 1.3 million views. I guess people are thirsty for a simple football video game.

I've spent thousands of hours in FIFA, and the third person view definitely feels like an interesting choice. FIFA does offer a similar option with the Pro Camera, but in my experience, it never really worked that well. Obviously, 11v11 is a completely different beast compared to 5v5

Maybe a game like this built from the ground up around that perspective could actually pull it off

Color me excited, I'm more than ready to drop FIFA the moment a solid new football multiplayer game shows up

I mean, yeah? Microprose Soccer, and later, Sensible Soccer, were awesome. Even if the titles used the term "soccer" instead of "football".

This is the studio I wanted Sony to buy. Wanted to see what they could do with a high budget. But now we have this. Ill give it a shot but hopefully they make a SIFU 2 at some point

I don't play sports games of any kind, but their angle with this game seems to be having 10 people controlling individual players in a 5-a-side match and doing that with a somewhat different graphical and gameplay style to others.

No idea if other games like this exist, but it's not hard to see potential in it as on ongoing game.

I'm not a sports gamer but i still like arcade style sports games. I'm imaginging how absolver and sifu feel while watching the trailer. This looks way more fun than rocket league. They put extra thought into the kinetics of the body and the moves look cool.

Sifu is pretty dope but it's unique approach to fighting is limited with the simon-says defense. Fun, but its not up with the best and probly can't be. They might be able to do with a sports game what they couldn't do with action games. This could be their breakout. I'll definitely try it.
