Great news.
Now let's see 1 and 3 after your own IP ships.

My surprise hit of the year.
Totally. I went in with low expectatations and went out binged through it (only games I really enjoy I do that).Agreed, definitely had a lot of reservations going in with Bloober's history but was a surprisingly good game.
Also, and always IMO, the fact that the game came out good in the end is more of an anomaly than actual merit taking into account Bloober's pedigree
Huh? I was one of the few on this board optimistic about the remake from the outset. You saw... And you didn't trust Bloober Team.
Ahhhh, there are now 2 of us, I also trusted Bloober team from the beginning, for the Blair Witch game.Huh? I was one of the few on this board optimistic about the remake from the outset.
Youve heard ofSurprised how a small studio produced such an amazing looking game.
It proves that selling games to pc is not automatically result an additional big sales number. The console is still the driving force for sales especially exclusives. Even ff7 rebirth right now, the sales in pc is not that big right now. If its a halflife and gta title it will sell big in any platform but not all games are gta or halflife.Vast majority of sales on Sony's machine guaranteed. Once again, PS5 owners saving the industry by buying full priced single player games on release.
Don't fight it. Don't deny it. You know it to be true. Thank us.
Everybody wants us to swap to PC gaming but nobody wants to live in an industry full of PC only gamers.
Console is still the driving force in terms in sales. Even Metaphor recently, there are more who both it for Ps5 than xbox and pc combines. Ff7 rebirth sales is not that big right now in pc. Where is the support from pc masters? Where is the support for great games like Sh2 remake? That is why Im worried about Stellar blade PC port. Its a huge hit for Ps5 but Im not sure about the outcome in PC. I rather see shift up focus on PS5 especially the Dlc and sequel.THis just shows peiple have zero taste in games.
2mill only? And how many of that is on playstation alone vs pc?
It should have sold way more but todays gamers are not gamers.
And not nearly enough enemy variety, encounters get kinda boring and not so scary by half game. They made a fantastic remake. Happy to see that Bloober proved themselves. My only complaint with the game is that there are too many enemies.
I understand but it is still impressive and technical marvel even in Ps5 slim, at even just 30 fps I was still impress and it did not bother my gameplay. Well it is not Doom or RE with allot of variety of monster, this is more ofAnd not nearly enough enemy variety, encounters get kinda boring and not so scary by half game.
I know all of that and it's not a huge flaw in the end, but a flaw nevertheless.I understand but it is still impressive and technical marvel even in Ps5 slim, at even just 30 fps I was still impress and it did not bother my gameplay. dealing with the psychology and state of mind and guilt of James, and all the monsters and scenes are symbolic, sort like a test.
Wha?Square Enix must be disappointed with these numbers
Albeit a completely different kind of game, and honestly, a much better one IMO.More than dragon age and a fraction of the cost
I didn't until he posted the GIF.
Ironically the Maria ending is actually the hardest one to get, you just miraculously did all the right (or in this case wrong) things. The vast majority of people get the Leave or In Water endings first playthrough.Good game, I don't like the arbitrary ways they use to determine which ending you'll get, if u need a guide to get the good endings its a no no imo, i got the "Maria" ending btw.
After that i booted SH1 and got the bad ending too, its too damn hard to get good endings without a guide and i m thinking this must happens in all the games.
Really ? from what i've read it feels like the easiest one to get it, you just need to stay close to her isnt ?Ironically the Maria ending is actually the hardest one to get, you just miraculously did all the right (or in this case wrong) things. They say
Leave is the best since James and Laura survive , but Maria has that appeal to me because I also got attach to her. But the interpretation of of some is that its a bad ending since it will just be cycle again of her getting sick and James doing the same mistake.
SH never was premium franchise. Whole series sold only 9 million copies combined as of 2018. Remake on a pace to sold at least 5, so more than half of that. That seems really low for such a premium IP that had excellent reviews; I wonder what their expectations were.
I wouldn't say that but I would say its on bar with RE2Remake.Is it better, than RE 1 Remake, RE 4 and RE Code Veronica?
In my opinion, yes. But also because I hadn't played the original SH2. So my mind was constantly being blown. Is it better, than RE 1 Remake, RE 4 and RE Code Veronica?
Impressive results.
But I'm personally disappointed in PC sales. It was a day-and-date release of a beloved franchise's long-awaited return. They still didn't buy it.
Would have been great had the PC community also supported the game better. Would have been around 3.5 to 4 million copies by now.

Thats insane amount of money, even of Konami took half of the profit. 11bit sold 350k of Frostpunk 2 to make profit and they’re in the Warsaw, while Bloober is in Cracow, that’s lower operation costs than in the capitalBloober is polish right? Dev costs probably cheap
