Simple and a nice color way. Not my cup of tea though unless it was a high top.

My will power is holding up. This morning woke up and NDC had a restock of the 8s. Put it in my cart out of habit then removed it.

Eastbay had a restock around lunch time. Put it in the cart out of habit then removed it.

Not sure I would be able to do the same for the Grape 5s or upcoming Kobe's.

My Xillia's coming from Amazon so I should be fine. Mario games though, luckily they come out on Sundays but still... Why did they decide to release in August, as I have my mom's birthday present to buy as well.

Waffling on the Nike SB Supremes due out in 2 days... if I can't get my size, then my purple Flyknits will be bought. Tried them on last week and they look damn good.

Hope I can manage to get the Grape V's, I had em in third grade (nostalgia!) and missed out on them in 2006.

I think the black version looks pretty good too actually.

Those IV's, not so much.

Every time I see a pair of 1s, I get really upset that I missed out on the Bred colorway, those black toes are nice though, really nice.

I like the slip ons a lot more, but I'd avoid all white shoes. Unless you don't care about maintenance, you will be super paranoid about getting them dirty.

I like the second pair. Especially since they're for the summer time and the first pair are a really bright white that will get messed up FAST.

Yeah, I'm not super anal about them getting a bit dirty. White seems to go with everything and is nice for summer though.

The majority of the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93 colorways we’ve seen to date (And the ’97 as well) have been ones tied into specific colorways of the model that they were inspired by. This upcoming pair (That Rip Hamilton accidentally previewed) isn’t as overt as the rest of the crowd, but if anything the Air Jordan VIII “Suns” has to be the base model here. Instead of the black upper though there’s a mixture of greys in place-the “wolf” and “cool” variations to be exact. Get another look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93 “Bright Citrus” below and watch for them to release on May 4th, 2013.

Were not talking about the Banned 1s right? If not then Concords.

Personally, I'd use the money toward two future releases but if they're grails then act now since collector prices usually go up not down.

Nah, the DMPs. However, the 2001 Breds pop up on eBay for less than $300 from time to time; it's just a matter of patience.

Honestly, I'd say neither. Use the money to buy new "hot" shoes. Retros drop probably every 3-5 years, so Concords will make a return and so will Bred 1s. There is so much heat n the horizon with Reebok retro, quality New Balance, Jordan Retros, Nike Basketball Signature, Air Maxes, etc.

I will say that 1s seem to be a difficult cop despite the lower price, due to the lower availability.

Chicago 1s weren't instant sell out but were gone in an afternoon to a day.

Knicks 1s were gone in a day and were a limited quick strike only available online and at HoH (and NT if you have one nearby).

Royal 1s, forget about it. Extremely limited quick strike and HoH (and NT). Shoe was $140 retail and already fetching more than $300.

Celtics 1s. Have no clue what happened with this release. These sat. Wonder if the recent events in Boston plus the Black/Gold might make these sought after.

Black and Gold. Dead at this extremely limited QS.

Hopefully, the Black Toe is like the Celtics or Chicagos.

I'll agree with you just based on the fact that he wouldn't be paying over retail for new releases. Although I don't see the Concords releasing till at least 4-5 years. Really depends on how much he wants either shoe. I think he can find a good deal of Concords with all the hype for new releases.

Three XIs are dropping this year. Columbia are supposed to re release. There's the Gamma Blues. There's the White/Black/Red lows. Not to mention the 12th Bred XI restock.

If you're friending for Air Jordan 1s, I listed all of the releases for the first half of the year. $400-$500 can buy three pairs new with left over versus adding one to your rotation.

But again, if it's a case of it being a grail then I understand. I think the only time in the last year I've paid reseller prices were to get 1 pair of Thunder 4s ($202) and foolishly spending $450 for the stupid GMP. I haven't worn either, lol. And I already know I want at least 2 dozen shoes on the horizon until the end of the year.

Well the thing is, I'm not really into all the different colorways and the newest shoes. I really stick to the OG colors. Looking forward to the Black Toes, but I'm doubtful about the Breds re-releasing.

As far as the Concords go I can get a decent deal.
