We’re focused on bringing more games to more people around the world, on the devices you choose to play with. Millions of Game Pass Ultimate members are already using Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) to play great games from the Game Pass catalog on various devices.

Today, we’re excited to announce our collaboration with LG Electronics to bring the Xbox app to their new LG Smart TVs later this year. This means Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play their games directly from the Xbox app on supported LG Smart TVs via Xbox Cloud Gaming. This gives players even more choice in how they enjoy their favorite games.

Soon, players with LG Smart TVs will be able to explore the Gaming Portal for direct access to hundreds of games in the Game Pass Ultimate catalog, including popular titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and upcoming releases like Avowed (launching February 18, 2025).

Cloud streaming for game pass ultimate subscribers is supposedly dropping on LG tvs tomorrow.
Anyone else hyped?

So I jumped the gun.
Avowed comes out today.
XCloud for LG TV’s comes some time later this year.
Will bump the thread when new news comes.

Xbox stream quality is trash—looks like 720p, and it's basically a Series S in the cloud. The bigger the screen, the worse it gets. GeForce Now Ultimate tier offers 4K 120Hz with an RTX 4080 and better latency. Consider that if you really want to play cloud gaming on a big TV.
I tried to set this up for my dad because he wanted to sell his Xbox. It was a headache for us because I guess there's not really an app for some TVs and you need to use a web browser to do it? He gave up and just bought PC parts instead.

I have the same in my Samsung TV, funny the misses watches some of the shows on the Samsung TV/channels and they actively advertise Samsung/Gamepass/Controller as a "normal" TV advert. Kinda of cool to see but I haven't really tried it out for cloud streaming as yet.
