I liked what I saw in the original gameplay trailer. If they can stick to that, great. But my gut feeling is that the story will rapidly swing into trying to make white Americans feel bad antebellum racism and how reparations can never be enough.
 
I know Sweet Baby is involved, but this game looked really cool. It didn't feel like woke stuff was jammed in during the trailer at least.
 
I've fallen into a pattern lately where I buy an indie game, play it for like 5 minutes and never look at it again.

It's like a 20 game pattern, so I really need to not buy indie games unless I know for 100% certainty it will appeal to me.

Last big one that I truly loved was Inscryption.

...this is an indie game right?

SBI game ain't got to "look" like shit, we just have to know it is SBI thru our intelligence organization that sniffs this stuff out. Once it's confirmed, then we start looking for what they fucked up.

Why would this matter, I am not planning to date the protagonist, and I am not planning to masturbate to images of it (or any other images/videos). Attractiveness of the protagonist literally means shit to me. It is your right to fancy Kratos, Alloy, Lara Croft or man in latex (spiderman)…what you do later with these images it is your own thing, I will not judge. I prefer real world people and even then I am not judging them on attractiveness alone.

Which is a damn shame, I actually like the premise of this. I love deep south stuff but you know it's not from an authentic place but more of a 'modern take'

Kids the correct retort is fighting for adult characters and showing some skin( it transcends all cultures).

Regarding this game; show gameplay for gamers. Remember it's the streamers that dictate fun, so show some core gameplay then some casual (the basics) then right back to core. Do Not Have any dev talk about anything else than gameplay or your game dies.

I'm on the fence even with gamepass, because it looks average. The boss fight looked like dmc for brain damage gamers aka beginners.
