Hey man that is not necessary. If we checked people's playtime on the games they won most of them probably haven't even launched them (or they did just to get the cards). Just because this is a popular game here or recenlty released doesn't change that.

He did win too many games before and some were later gifted (which I brought it up along with Nillansan). I believe he said he was sorry. And if I'm right ( I hope I am) he realized those game were to be activated by other gaffers. Just my 2c.

Even though I didn't care for the main game of Red Faction (there, I spelled it correctly this time, no math) Guerilla, the multiplayer and how much you can destroy/highest score segment was bloody good fun and I would have loved if that had become a full game instead of Armageddon.
If cheap enough or won through a giveaway, it's worth it on it's own as something to come back to from time to time.

I could never like Red Faction: Armageddon though. People said it had moments that made it feel like Descent, they were wrong. Also mediocre bland linear game play where it's biggest gimmick of repair/fix damage did nothing of interest for most players.

Yeah, aside from one foil card that I luckily sold for 26 bucks, all these cards are selling for pennies. :p But since it doesn't take a lot of time list a bunch of cards, I figured I'd sell them since I'm never going to craft anything out of them anyway.

I'm guessing there's just not enough sales slots for all the games that want to have sales and be advertised on Steam. So I think this is a pretty good way to get more space for sales.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I just saw that Grim Dawn added beta access. Might have to pick up the "Pioneer" version.

Really looking forward to this one.

guys can you still get cards from games you already got all from... most of the ones I have left are sooo fucking big to download just to idle :/ need 3.72 for BAO lol

I can't remember whether there was a Steam Halloween sale last year or if we're just waiting until around Black Friday/Thanksgiving for the next sale.

That is amazing. All I can do is picture all the GAFers avatars on the faces of the hamsters going bonkers trying to load Steam at 1pm EST for the sale.

You can use Steam Achievement Manager to idle games, no game download required. Just don't accidentally unlock any achievements if you don't want to. :p

The Dark Matter issue could have been handled way better. I mean the devs could have made slight changes to the non-end and say it is a critique/reference on certain games and game endings in general, for example. Make it a design decision to drop the ending in order to get a message across. At least that is what I would have done.

It seems likely enough. Happened last year. Only thematically-appropriate games will be discounted though, so if you were hoping for Secret of the Magic Crystals you're probably SOL.

A few people have theorized that it will begin on October 28th because some Slenderman game I forget the name of is launching that day.

...Actually, didn't Ghostlight Rising Star specifically say Deadly Premonition would not get a better discount than the current preorder discount during the Halloween sale? Gonna go look that up now if I can find it.

man what I would give if they would fucking patch it so you could skip the damn cut-scenes :*( paid 60 played it once 13 hours such a waste... I started it right after I beat it to but once I seen no skippable cut-scenes -_- un-installed immediately

They actually patched it somewhat. A couple of cutscenes were definitely skippable the last time I checked it.

But the thing is, the way these cutscenes played out, as in Max getting stupidly in the middle of things made me not skip them, just not to get surprised.

But you wouldn't be able to use it or you would have tu use a vpn at every launch or you would have to use a vpn once and launch the game from the .exe
Did I get everything right guys ?

On a completely unrelated note, I didn't really like the scare tactic and AI of Amnesia, but loved the accessible and interesting puzzles. Should I play Penumbra ? It seems it is Amnesia without the hiding in closet simulation (which I didn't found great either, need moar closet in Amnesia).
