The Arkham story comes to a close in a graphically gorgeous, if somewhat uneven…www.videogameschronicle.com
Yeah im waiting for a discount, buying yakuza 8 today instead. I want to play this at some point but feels like paying 70 for this is a waste, because its probably gonna be on sale in less than a month
Its also not officially out yet. Those are all $100 edition suckers, shills and retarded people.
Digital fuckery posting not one, but 2 tweet about the game having excellent graphic make me thing that yt compression absolutely annihilate this game IQ or they are just fishing for clicks with their usual hyperbolic bullshit opinions...
Which one is it?
For the record, in 2024 i don't find those models really much impressive tbh, nor the skin, nor the materials of the suits or nothing really, at best they look pretty good, wonder woman looks strange.
(some models look better than others)
I'm probably about to try the game today so i'm gonna check soon.No the models are seriously impressive.

Becaue models are generally good to great in any AAA game, even gothamk knights had some very nice models."Character models are some of the best i've scene"
Feels like I hear this dozens of times a year at this point.
Honestly it really does have some great facial expression animations, much better than I was expecting at least. Not sure why they decided to go with such a brightly colored game, especially compared to the Arkham games, but maybe it's because it's the Suicide Squad so they wanted it to look more "loud and ridiculous"? Not sure. I'm about 5 hours in now, and yeah for me, it's still dumb fun. Who knows how long I'll play it. But I could see it being a decent brain melter, it has been thus far IMO.Digital fuckery posting not one, but 2 tweet about the game having excellent graphic make me thing that yt compression absolutely annihilate this game IQ or they are just fishing for clicks with their usual hyperbolic bullshit opinions...

If you're curious I'd recommend just checking it out on Steam, and get a refund if it's not your cup of tea. Too many people lean way too hard on content creators or other opinions, and in situations like this, majority of them just want to ride the waves that get the most clicks. Which is most certainly the hate train. I'm by no means taking a bullet for the game, lmao. I just personally don't think it's nearly as bad as everyone led on IMO. Everyone has an opinion, and no one's opinion is wrong. That's how it always is.Dreamcast guys video is worth a watch if any of you guys get tempted by ppl in this thread saying the game is in any way good
Eh GK’s were good but you could tell they were started on the previous gen before they made it next gen. These are next gen Rocksteady models.Becaue models are generally good to great in any AAA game, even gothamk knights had some very nice models.
Let's no go there dude, no need to call names for people who enjoy different things than you.Its also not officially out yet. Those are all $100 edition suckers, shills and retarded people.
Metropolis is supposed to be kind of the opposite of Gotham. Not sure why they decided to go with such a brightly colored game, especially compared to the Arkham games, but maybe it's because it's the Suicide Squad so they wanted it to look more "loud and ridiculous"? Not sure.
You gave me 5 straight minutes of laughing.
I really don't think these are the best nextgen models that the team who made AK could have made after 9 years of develpment (so it also started in the previous gen like GK).Eh GK’s were good but you could tell they were started on the previous gen before they made it next gen. These are next gen Rocksteady models.

Which totally makes sense! But I guess a ton of people missed the memo, lol. They've done a good job of connecting the bridges with Arkham series characters though.Metropolis is supposed to be kind of the opposite of Gotham.
Then put a fucking emoticonIm kidding dude I like plenty of stuff that people here think is garbage (Callisto, Forspoken, Order1886, Mafia 3, Goodbye Volcano High the list goes on)
I kid on that last one
Because the graphics, lighting, textures or her character model get better after the tutorial?
I heard very conflicting opinions about the perf on pc on reeee, and that forum is loving and shielding the game like it was the second coming of goodbye volcano high, they are the opposite of gaf treatment so hardly liars or haters. You gave me 5 straight minutes of laughing.
Thank you.
Also, the game really has some great visually impressive areas (and all the character banter/scenes look fantastic) and the performance on PC has been shockingly awesome (max everything 120 hrz etc)
The combat comparison was clearly dishonest.Game looks good visually to me. Dunno what to tell you.
. . .however my comment was clearly about the YouTuber highlighting someone mindless bashing on single enemies, despite that not being in any way shape or form a routine representation of the combat in the game.

The game seems to be extremely cpu-bounded.
No, the game compile the shader at the beginning, i heard that it lose a lot of frames during chaotic situations, no stuttering, just wild frame fluctuations. It uses UE4. So it will probably have the usual issues with a couple of threads doing most of the work. And then most other threads doing little.
And it might also have the usual UE4 stutters from asset streaming and shader compilation.
But why’s it absurd?Ubisoft's for the absurd asking price
Only Nintendo can get away with charging $50-60 bucks for a 2D Metroid
Full disclosure...my pc has bigger biceps than you physically have wolf...so it could be that I am immune to those issues.I heard very conflicting opinions about the perf on pc on reeee, and that forum is loving and shielding the game like it was the second coming of goodbye volcano high, they are the opposite of gaf treatment so hardly liars or haters.

Yeah, I have a i9-14900KF + a 3080, and it's been buttery smooth at 1440 95% of the time. I think I got a second/half second stutter once or twice? But it was very minuscule.I heard very conflicting opinions about the perf on pc on reeee, and that forum is loving and shielding the game like it was the second coming of goodbye volcano high, they are the opposite of gaf treatment so hardly liars or haters.

Yeah, I'm sure if people have been affected by the standard UE4 issues, they may experiencing them here as well as a result. Totally a YMMV thing. It uses UE4. So it will probably have the usual issues with a couple of threads doing most of the work. And then most other threads doing little.

It's like if they showed the acrobatic gunplay vs batman launching the batarang to show the difference in ranged combat.
But tbh, after 9 years all the animations should look pristine and not janky, no matter if it is melee or ranged, i saw some videos and you actually use melee frequently enough.
Tbf i heard people with 13900k+4090 having problems, i don't know how much higher than that you can go tbhFull disclosure...my pc has bigger biceps than you physically have wolf...so it could be that I am immune to those issues.
I have a filthy 13600k so i'm less sure about being cpu-bounded or not.Yeah, I have a i9-14900KF + a 3080, and it's been buttery smooth at 1440 95% of the time. I think I got a second/half second stutter once or twice? But it was very minuscule.

PCIE 5x, DDR5*(sorry fat fingered)? Maybe those are helping but I dunno....game is running like butter for me.Tbf i heard people with 13900k+4090 having problems, i don't know how much higher than that you can go tbh
On Xbox it has to be REALLY insane to drop. It does, but it’s like the most chaotic fights when it does. No, the game compile the shader at the beginning, i heard that it lose a lot of frames during chaotic situations, no stuttering, just wild frame fluctuations.
I'm assuming they're pushing everything as high as they can, as they should with a 4090. It's a shame they're experiencing issues, but this also isn't the first time. People with 4090s had tons of issues with Jedi Survivor, but I didn't with my 3080 and was able to complete the game without any serious issues at all. just a few stutters here and there but nothing constant or game breaking. Everyone acted like I was a shill or a liar, but I was just being honest with my experience, lol.Tbf i heard people with 13900k+4090 having problems, i don't know how much higher than that you can go tbh
Hey, be light on yourself and that 13600K, there's plenty of people out there that don't even have that! I wish I could tell you how it would perform, but I couldn't say.I have a filthy 13600k so i'm less sure about being cpu-bounded or not.
One day gaming journalist will watch actual films or read books or watch television. Hell even graphic novels.
I don't even care too much about the melee, the gunplay is what disturb me way more (from the videos)I've honestly only been using Boomerang, whose melee is a ranged flourish on his throw, so haven't really noticed it much. What I did play of the melee for HQ felt less satisfying (you "teleport" to an enemy, though I guess you're meant to really be using evade to close the distance with her if you are on the ground - which you shouldn't be). So sure, I'll give that perhaps they could have gone more comic-book on some of the animations, but everything else visually about the game looks good.
. . .that said, PC performance isn't terrible, but is taxing if you're going for a 4K experience. On a 6800XT/5600X/32GB I can't get a locked 60 using FSR. Turning it down to 3K and Balanced does better, but I still get frame drops. This is likely a 1400P/60FPS/Balanced game for most people without top of the line gear. I've also experienced no tell-tale shader stuttering (which, given the heavy emphasis on traversal combat, would kill the game for me).
I heard that rtx basically half (or halves?) the perf just for reflections so it's better OFF.I'm assuming they're pushing everything as high as they can, as they should with a 4090. Oh yeah I can imagine, I just left my settings on default aside from turning DLSS on and putting it on balanced. I wouldn't be surprised if RTX was off by default, especially if that's ALL it's doing. Definitely not worth it for the sacrifice of performance.I heard that rtx basically half (or halves?) the perf just for reflections so it's better OFF.
Fuck me those are already out?PCIE 5x, DDR6? Maybe those are helping but I dunno....game is running like butter for me.
No...i fat fingered the 6 when it should have been ddr5. PCIE 5x is out from a drive perspective but pcie 5x gpus won't be supported till later this year prolly.Fuck me those are already out?
I swear my pc was a ferrari last year and now it's a fucking electric scooter
