Suicide Squad Kill The Justice Leaks real ending is here....

Superhero deaths in the modern multiverse age:

I just don't give a shit anymore about stories that don't care about stakes at all.

That ending cutscene feels like it makes a joke of the players' entire time spent on the game. Well...all 12 of them anyway.

Its a game with some of the best cutscene animations ive seen in recent memory.......after the "failure" they basically cut the budget entirely and all the DLC had absolutely shit comic cutscenes instead of the awesome ones from the base game.

Bro if you still play this turd of a game you deserve nothing more than an ending like this.

No, I don't even have the game but as a huge fan of Batman, I was curious as to what happens in the ending because there were rumors that Batman was actually alive and the ones that got killed were clones.

After "i kinda liked netflix Resident Evil" and "This Joker 2 movie seems pretty good", here comes one of my famous horrible takes :

I played it with psn and found it enjoyable.
Actually i finished the story during the weekend, king shark was well written, so was luthor and Wonder Woman. I also found Superman dangerously handsome with his Henry Cavill likeness.

Sure the missions were repetitive and it is so easy to actually kill the justice league it is almost laughable, but truly i had a good time and wouldn't be mad if i brought that for 30 bucks.

This a well deserving ending for anyone stupid enough to play and support this crap. These retards deserve each other.

Saying anything nice about this game will make people attack you like you were defending Jeffrey Epstein, but I agree with everything above. I got a review code at launch and found the game enjoyable. It's a weird game with fantastic traversals and a great cast of characters, killed by its dull gameplay for a coop shooter.

They fucked up big by wanting to make a Destiny clone. There was really no incentive for me to keep playing after finishing the story.

That said, I consider Gotham Knights to be a way worse game. Boring as fuck, could not play it until the end.

Cutscenes were one of the few good things, true.

I loved all the Batman games (and liked Origins). I had high expectations and was so disappointed.

The cutscenes were straight amazing.
I really wonder how good this game could have been if it wasnt hunting the live service bullshit.
I think a lot about it, but I'm not sure that's the only issue: the four characters and the (empty) open world were also issues, but the game would lose its spirit without the banter between them.
What a shameful ending for such a great studio.

I dabbled with the first DLC but you could tell they are done on a significantly reduced budget. Just play through the story mode and call it a day.

Wonder Woman wasn't a clone so she is dead dead. I'm a sad 😔 panda 🐼.
She deserved better. 😤

As for the ending? Ehhh 🤷
I honestly wasn't expecting much.

I don't know anything about the characters or lore so I can't talk on the story, but I liked the movement of the shark-man-guy-thing. I played for about an hour and put it down as the U.I. was frustrating to me. I think it l was like $7 for the deluxe version and that price seems about right.

Still so insane that the game came out the way it did. It could've and should've been so much better. I just really don't understand it.

Even with the whole "known characters from different universes" thing, their version of characters all looked.... not good and were very off putting to the majority. So I have no idea what they were thinking across the board. Of course I didn't think there was an issue with genders being swapped, etc. I mean, they're from different universes, so that kind of change is kind of on the nose. But why was it so damn hard to make them look cool? Lmao.

That late 2000s bare minimum style of motion comic doesn't hold up. It looks like something a network television show affected by the COVID shutdowns would air to salvage their season.

This can't be real surely?

Like seriously, who the fuck is this made for? I've never seen an industry so remarkably out of touch with the demographics of its customer base, it's no wonder we're seeing endless job losses, bankruptcies and billion dollar losses.

This is so lame. Clones? Man, I cannot imagine a scenario other than someone asking their boss at Rocksteady "how to we end this?" and the boss just saying "I don't know, just make it clones or some shit."

And then in a series of MS paint slides, they say "it's clones or some shit."

Also… how the fuck do you "clone" the green lantern's ring?

What's funny is in the comments of that video I realized that Wonder Woman actually died, the others didn't because they were cloned, and their clones died. But Wonder Woman actually died, and that's that, lmao.

I say it in every SS thread but this game was better than it gets credit for. The live service elements killed it, really. Post game and all content drops were completely terrible but the main story is fun and funny. Traversal was exceptional. Mechanically a little shallow but totally solid. There were legitimately good moments in the campaign. The choice to lock such a subpar ending behind GaaS style content drops and grinding is unforgivable though. The game is a solid 7 that's treated like a 3 because of the genre and developer legacy.

It's in a completely different league compared to Gotham Knights, which is an actual piece of shit with few redeeming qualities.

For you guys talking cutscene quality yesterday I agree. Never played the game, never will. Looks like junk with kill the purple blob mechanics. And it makes no sense in a superhero game to run around rooftop to rooftop shooting machine guns to begin with.

But I admit, even I watched a bunch of cutscenes on YT. And I'm a gamer who typically hates needing to sit through cutscenes. But they were among the best I've seen in a game.

It's kind of sad to see but this is basically what a lot of people are doing.

If the game wasnt Live Service it would likely be closer to Guardians of the Galaxy than whatever the heck we got.
There would be no need to have the game be open world beyond going from mission to mission........they could Arkham City it if they really needed it to be open world, or just go from mission to mission with cutscenes in between.
And that would undoubtedly be a better game.

They cut the budget of the game after it didnt sell 20 million unitis so all the DLC has stupid comic cutscenes, while the base game has absolutely amazing cutscenes.

I suspect the original ending would've been the League being killed except for Bats, to keep the Arkham games happening going forward and explain why no other heroes apart from his family ever show up.
Between the negative public reaction and Gunn uniting all forms of DC media for the new DCU, that led to this shitty patchwork emergency ending.
