Speaking of music, there's some interesting level stuff we can infer:
Distant Planet isn't in, all its music is on Garden of Hope.
Wario Ware's music is on gamer, so it's not back either.
There probably isn't a Wind Waker level since all the Pirate Ship music is moved all around. I would imagine the Great Sea would obviously be on any Wind Waker level, but it's on Skyloft. Curiously Molgera's battle theme is missing though, maybe there's a Ganon inspired level or something or they just cut it because it was a rip (of a very good song).
Flat Zone 2's Doctor Mario Chill plays on 75m, meaning it's probably not back and Game and Watch either has a new level or a surprise return of Flat Zone. I might add this music doesn't work well on this stage at all, but it didn't work on FZ2 either so meh.
The lack of Onett videos or information at all tells me either Magicant's music plays on the level and it confirms no Magicant, or Magicant's music doesn't play and it confirms Magicant is on the Wii U. I remember someone saying Onett footage isn't allowed, telling me something is up with that stage.
None of the Rumble Falls music has been seen playing. This strikes me as odd, since Smash Run has RF music, so if Hijinx had it, it would confirm that it wasn't back. RF also had great remixes.
Rainbow Cruise is on some level I don't remember, so that stage isn't back. It and Rumble Falls are the only two levels with Smash Run music that aren't accounted for yet. I think it may have replaced the Super Mario World music that was moved to Yoshi's Island from Delphino.
Neither Green Greens or Fountain of Dreams music is heard anywhere as far as I've seen. I'd be surprised if we don't see our good buddy Whispy in this game. Maybe Dream Land 64?
I haven't seen Port Town at all, so I can't tell if Big Blue or Mute City 3DS's music plays.
I'm curious where Orpheon's many remixes will go, considering Norfair also has its own bunch of remixes and Pyrosphere will obviously have it's own list of songs. Sector 1 for example doesn't seem like it would fit right on either of those stages.

Bleh I hate that the Mario Galaxy stage doesn't rotate. Even if it didn't rotate in new platforms, at least showing the rest of the planet. Such a waste.

I don't think we know if that's true. It's called Chill Ver. 2, which is how they disambiguate different arrangements of the same music (e.g. Green Greens Ver. 2, Mute City Ver. 3). As far as I know, there's only been one arrangement of Chill in Smash Bros thus far, so this may be a new one.

Nintendo saw his leak and cut an entire stage 2 months before the game is supposed to come out, and also managed to leave a reference to the replacement stage on the 3DS which came out a few weeks later!

He honestly would have been better off saying that the board game mode was Tower of Smash, considering it has the "collect fighters and those are your lives" mechanic, which his Tower of Smash had as well.
And probably the worst way to try and make your leak seem credible is to say devs changed things because of your leak. It doesn't work that way.

Nintendo clearly completely scrapped the whole Tower of Smash mode because of one little leak, and then added in Event matches to discredit the leaker!

I do think the Direct nod was just that, a nod, and that there's no legal repercussion for a reference like that, considering Sakurai brought up Meteos during a POTD, and AFAIK the IP is owned by Q Entertainment, even if he created it.

Well, I bet you that leaker is someone that worked on Project M. Project M Team did exactly same thing to Sami. Once leaker leaked that Sami and other 4 characters were planned to be in Project M and uploaded the pictures/gif of Sami's models.
Basically the team decided to write Sami out of the roster because public know that she is planned to be in the game and know what she look like. The logic behind this don't really make sense. It's like Capcom decided to erased 8 characters that got leaked through Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom websites, etc.
That's what I heard.
